Check out Google Alert - (as an example) type in your name for a search term and anytime someone types it in you are "alerted" by email. Very neat - here is the link: Google Alerts Have fun, Doug |

This is a great thing with the alerts Doug. You know I have about 10 Gmail accounts and of course two I use regularly for PIPS. Well the main one has the alert and Stone used to think I was sooooo amazing because I would respond the minute he sends me an email. - it just pops up a little window with a snippet (who/what) as the email is received, so whatever I am doing online I can see the alert and respond. It works for me too so I can catch him once I know he is online! lol |

I have been using this for content ideas for my blog for some time now. I also use it for article ideas for customers we write news style articles for. It is great. Google has a lot of neat tools to check out and use if you have time.

Google alerts is a great tool, you can check your keyword, your competition, find ideas to blogs and articles, and even check if others are giving you the backlink when posting your articles. You can also check if someone is stealing your staff. Tanny |

I agree! I've been using it for a couple of months now. I like keeping track of my name, domain and primary keywords. One thing I notice is every time I post to my blog or post a link of mine on Twitter, it is indexed instantly! And I know this all thanks to Google Alerts. Awesome tool! Alan |
