New to PIPS and need guidance

Hi, my name is Leanne and i'm new to PIPS. I went through the 30 days to success guide and did everything Stone said with the exception of a couple things i couldnt afford. I actually couldnt really afford any of it because i'm currently unemployed. I've just been using a little money i've had saved up, which i'm pretty sure is gone by now.

I know i've done everything right so far, but i guess i'm just confused as to what to next. I feel sort of blind to the whole thing because I didn't know anything when I started and now I just feel like I was going through the steps without really understanding them. I set up my weekly schedule basing it off of the one Stone provided near the end of the success guide, but I still feel like I don't understand the concepts enough as a whole to know if what i'm doing is effective. I understand that it will take time to gain traffic, but I just don't want it to end up taking longer than it should just because of my lack of knowledge.

I'm looking to work entirely from home. I'm confident that I can make money from this, but I guess i'm just looking for some reassurance or a mentor who can clear things up for me.

As far as particular things i'm having trouble with, I don't understand the concept of backling or how to do it. I ended up just signing up for Pauls backlinging service where he does it all for you which is costing me $94 a month. The one thing i really understand is blogging using Wordpress. Using the 20 blogs provided by the PIPS co-op, I posted all of Octobers blogs already. However, now that I am trying to post some for November, I can't find them on the co-op site. If anyone could help with that it would be much appreciated.

My site is www.leanneraymond.com.

Thanks a lot,
Leanne

Leanne -

First on what you do understand - blogging - you would be much better off posting articles 1 or 2 at a time over a 30 day period (if I read right it sounded like you posted them all at once)

Contact the co-op anytime about their issues - see below.

As for backlinking - What you are doing is posting your links on other sites so that there will be a connection or channel between that site and your own site = one way or back link.

This activity if you get enough of it will eventually create natural traffic from the search engines as well as to expose your link to the public who may read your blogs or articles.

If you have gone through the training and still don't understand - or actually even if you do - you should go back through it again and you will likely retain more this time.

(as the training does change it is a good idea for everyone to check back and go through it every few months).

In addition to the training there are also the Newbie training videos in your bonuses section of your PIPS back office. You could watch a few videos every time you get a chance and you will learn some more concepts and pretty soon you will connect all the dots.

It is natural not to understand everything at first - there is a lot of new terminology and strange concepts to assimilate. It will happen over time the more you expose yourself to it.

The most important thing you can do is blogging and article marketing and learning about search engine optimization (SEO) - and to realize that what you are doing is building momentum with everything you do - it takes time to see the results of your actions - as well as you need to keep it up so that you will sustain your momentum over time.

Hi Leanne...

I've been with PIPS for about 11 months now. It took me about 4 months to figure it all out. The last 6 months have I've finally hit my stride.

Affiliate marketing is a very tough niche. It will take time to get established. But don't get discouraged. It will happen.

I know money is tight for you, being on unemployment. So here are my suggestions.

Maybe drop the Co-op for a while, till you start making some money.

On your backlinks, if you want to use Paul's services, get the $8 month package. You will have to do all the work yourself, but it will save you a lot of money. plus you will be learning your business.

Learn to write your own articles. It's really not that hard, once you've written a couple of articles. They only need to be 300-500 words, and once you start writing, you will see how easy it is to write that many words.

You don't have to purchase or enroll in all of Stone's programs or services. There are plenty of free versions that do the same thing. You can always do the preferred programs after you get on your feet.

Find some online classified ad sites you like, and place some ads for your programs there.

I see that you have made some changes to your website. That is good.

Another thing you might do is change your keywords. The ones that come with the website are pretty competitive. Do some keyword research and find some that aren't so competitive.

You said you want to do this for a living, so I suggest you learn and do as much of it yourself as possible. It's a good way to learn. Once you start making money consistently, then you can outsource some of the boring stuff.

I'm no guru...but I've gone through the same things you are going through. If you have any questions, email me at carrollw @ fastmail . us. I'll try to answer any question you have.

If you do anything join the Co-Op! Then activate the 'funded proposal' and promote it. See more details of how I've been getting traffic, sales, and prospects at AMU's Library here: Quick Traffic Tips For Plug In Profit Site (PIPS) Members
