Empowerism Problem...
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

I was contacted by one of my affiliates who had just recently joined Empowerism. Empowerism failed to validate their credit card, and today I was notified that Empowerism had canceled the account.

Well, I received an email from the affiliate, who was not very happy about this. They had been away and couldn't check their email to get the card validated. I'm not exactly sure what country they're in.

What should my affiliate do to get the account activated again? I told them to contact Empowerism support to try to get this resolved with them.

Is there any specifics I could help them with? Does anyone know what to do in a case like this?

Thanks!

Alan

If it was during the sign up process, they asked him to validate that he is in fact the owner of the card* and he didn't respond. So they cancelled the request.

All he needs to do is start over and this time respond.

* Something about this card raised a red flag - the name was different than the applicant, the IP address did not match the billing address on file. Or just his country may be on the watch list.

This happens because when a company gets charge backs, they incur a large fee from their bank. So they try to ward off certain situations that may indicate this is a possibility.

Hi Pat,

So he needs to sign up again? Does he need to go through my link again for me to get credit?

Thanks!

Hi Alan,

please just submit a ticket to Empowerism Support (In your Empowerism Member Center go to Secure Email Center). Please include the details of the person who failed to register.

Regards

Johan

Okay, he just contacted me again. Finally. He said that his credit card was charged. Is that possible? He wants to sign up again but is wondering what will happen to the money that was taken from his account. I'm not sure why his card would have been billed if they couldn't confirm it to begin with.

Hi Alan

My advice on Empowerism problems is deal with Johan in the Empowerism forum or through the Empowerism Support Center - he is a great help and has always managed to sort out any problems that I have had.

Cheers for now
Cyn

Empowerism support wasn't very detailed in how to go about the situation.

Johan has offered to help look into the situation for me. I will wait and see what he comes up with.

hi
I had the same problem, if your affiliate is in the uk empowerisms credit card form is no good something to do with post codes, what i did was contact them and they e mailed me a form i had to sign, then scan and e mail it back, you can fax it as well i think.
