Which is better to have a subdomain or an addon domain and why? I get different info from differerent sources. Please help before I add more domains to my server 'hostgator'.

Thanks,

While I was going to try and explain the differences between and addon, subdomain and sub-directory (such as for a blog), I found this article that covers it all.

Hope this helps
