Buying links - worth it or not?
Share on:

I have found a few sites that allow you to buy links. One site that was recommended was Cyber Pro Link...they will sell you around 1000 links for $50/month supposedly from quality PR sites.

Has anyone done that and is this something you would recommend?

All thoughts are welcome, thanks!

Hi,

No........get backlinks from article marketing, forum posting, blog posts, and social bookmarking just to name a few...

Keep your money in your pocket...

Instead of buying non targeted links try blog commenting. Search "Google Blogs" for blogs related to Affiliate Marketing and home based business. Find those that are high PR and comment on them. This will give you backlinks that are from relative sites and will give you much more value.

The search engines look at more than just the links alone. They look to see the value of the link, is it from a high PR site, is the site relative to your site, and more. Links from the right sites can give your site a much better ranking and they can do it faster.

I agree with Jeff and Stephen. Google frowns upon paid links. You don't want to do anything that could get your site sandboxed.
