thoughts on wp robot
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hi everyone,

I just came across wp robot and wanted to know if people can show me successful uses of it.

I've heard mixed reviews....obviously content creation is a win with auto blogging tools, but some people suggest it works against google ranking.

What I was hoping to do was have the plugin create an article post and then I would edit it to make it more personalized. Anyone else taking the same approach?

Please let me know any thoughts on this and autoblogging. I'm still trying to get my head around this. Thanks!

For auto blogging, building Niche sites, the software has a good reputation. I have seen people using it with this product, http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...relegated.html and would recommend both together. They each do a good job on their own also.

Just make sure you read all the info that comes with them so you set your perimeters the way you want. Also, just because it is an autoblogging software that doesn't mean everything is automatic. You still have to promote the site and build backlinks. No work and the site will just sit there un-noticed.

I am using the plugin for various websites - examples:
Natural dog food
Learn guitar online

and others (I don't want to spam this thread)

I find it very very good especially if you use their Re-write option.
This option requires a paid subscription to a spinning service - the 5$/months if good enough.
I really recommend this plugin, my suggestion is to buy only the modules you really need.

The power of auto blogs will perform better if you build solid backlinks.

I am using WP robot for the last 2 weeks now and I LOVE it. Its awesome. I am combining it with WP Syndicator. Its too soon for me to tell just how effective it is in terms of increased traffic and income, but I am optimistic. I semi-autoblog, so I always add a personal touch, change the title, tags, etc. Hope it pays off soon!

Some love it, some not so much. Me, not so much. I'm pretty picky and I can't take the junk crap it unavoidably brings in. I like "killer" content not "so-so" content. Not easy to build rankings for. If you have a small niche many times the readers will have seen the content already somewhere else.

everyone...really appreciate the feedback and examples of the service. I agree with the fact that content should strive to be "killer". For me, I feel that the autoblogging tool acts a jump start.

I'd like to use it to produce some content and then I swing in with some creativity and personality before actually posting it to the public....a semi-auto approach.

thanks again everyone for the help!

I only use the Amazon module of WP robot and I create sites within small niches. Especially now, during the holiday season, these sites are doing extremely well.

Yep, content is King, with good content everything else is so much easier. Content can get your site ranked high, bring visitors and make money. Lousy or poorly structured content will just sit there doing nothing. That's why autoblogging isn't completely automatic. You have to review each post to make sure it's acceptable.

Remember, Wordpress is easy to install and set up, no special skills needed. If a PIPs member needs help installing a WordPress blog let me know. Will do it for PIPs members at No Charge, Install blog, add new theme, install plugins, no charge A Christmas Special. Besides Christmas it's my birthday, and I enjoy giving gifts on my Birthday. Thanks so much Leslie! So is wp robot providing you both the image affiliate link and the text?

You have a very simply layout and just right for the no non-sense stocking shopper! I really like

All the posts with amazon products get everything from Amazon through wp robot, so the images, the description, the price, ...

On my more authority sites, I also use wp robot from time to time, but I'll put more work into it, rewriting the description, things like that

Re: thoughts on wp robot

I think a few others here may have mentioned this but just in case...

From what I know of WP Robot it does a pretty dececnt job at some things but can also tend to pull in less than quality content, just something to be aware of.

I think you will find that (not only with thei plugin but most) the quality of content a plugin pulls is somewhat limited and regardless of which plugin or system you use you will do yourself a huge favor by checking the quality prior to allwing it to post to your blogs.

One other poster said they "semi' auto blog and this is how I approach it as well. I have found that checking the relavancy, quality and overall feel of the content prior to posting has made a BIG difference in my blogs performance. I also occasionally add in some of my own unique content as well to keep my blogs fresh, soing this also allows me to dictate the direction of the reader (somewhat).

In the end I think its about offering the reader high quality content thats related to what they are searching for. If you do that then you will be off to a good start. You will of course have to test, tweek and so forth to find what specifically works for you because that is different with most everyone but setting a good foundation with quality content from the start will make a difference

Good luck!
Robert
