What does search engine saturation mean?

Search Engine Saturation is the number of web pages and related files that a search engine has indexed from your website.

Did you mean search engine saturation is too many pages and file in a website? What is the effect of search engine saturation to website owner, to the public and to the search engine?

If all your pages are indexed in the search engines it means that a visitor has the potential to find all your pages. If a page is not indexed then nobody can find it via the search engines.

If you want to increase the chances of your pages being indexed then the following will help:
- clear menu structure OR a site map linked from the home page
- unique content
- good backlinks pointing to your website
