My site is Secrets-Success.com. I would appreciate if someone could please tell me if my newsletter capture form is working correctly?

Here is why I ask: When I go to my homepage in the link above, the newsletter capture form is on the top left. I enter my Name and Email, then I am taken to a page that says "Congratulations, check your email!" I never get the email. I do see a tab to the top right that says "Newsletter", so I click that. I am taken to this page here. Ok, I enter my name and email again. That then takes me to this page here where there is another sign up form! When I enter my name and email there, that takes me to this page which doesn't appear to be my affiliate page, but the main PIPS site, which doesn't seem right? I had to go through 4 capture forms and finally was taken to Stone's page, not mine. I also receive the email to sign up for his newsletter, not mine.

Am I missing something here? Is this how it is supposed to work? I'd like to hear from anyone else on how their site works. It just seems to me that at any capture form I come to, you should only have to enter name and email once and be sent to the thanks page and be put on my auto-responder. If that isn't happening, people are going to get confused or frustrated when trying to sign up.

9 times out of 10, If you don't get the emails then your email client is blocking the mail. You need to try with a half way decent free email address like Google mail. (gmail.com)

I have tested your site.

Left Opt-in Form Is working fine - thank you page - waiting for confirmation email.

You refer to the little envelope at top right which is not an opt-in form. It is supposed to go to the sales page. On the sales page, the Mini Course at the top IS FROM STONE, but it is sent on YOUR BEHALF with your affiliate links. There is also one on the sales page that goes direct to your list - 'demo newsletter'.

The other opt-in form on your site is at the bottom. Same thing - working fine, going to thank you page, waiting fo confirmation email.

It is running slow today for some reason - usually confirmation comes in a few seconds, but sometimes the traffic gets slow. I will wait for a little while and see what happens - otherwise I will come back and ask you to send me your username and password for Getresponse. Maybe there really is something wrong.

The only way any of your newsletters has Stone's IDs is if you have upgraded and did not use the existing username for the free account as instructed. If you set up a new account then it is not configured.

In that case I will need that username and password to fix this.

Never mind on sending the ID. I have logged in with your original username and password and see it has been upgraded and there is no problem with the configuration.

I have still not received the confirmation message and am on hold to speak to GetResponse.

Update: They have confirmed they are having traffic issues today and that there is a delay in new sign ups.

So when I get the confirmation emails I will post them here to confirm that they are correct.

Hi Patrician,
We are new to PIPS and have upgraded our site to a mega site. I didn't test the form before this was done so I don't know if it was working or not. I have the same issue, I don't get an email message to confirm and have been on the phone with getresponse 4 times today to find out what the problem is. The top left form doesn't return a confirmation page they say it doesn't have the right campaign name in it. The form on the bottom returns a confirmation but I never get the email to opt-in and they tell me it is the traffic that they are having an issue. I see the above post is from Aug 05! Is this an ongoing issue with them? Pretty unreliable it seems! Can you tell me who can fix our site since we didn't do the form?

If you want to send me the username and password you used for the Getresponse upgrade I will check your account is configured right although I think I have already done that. Please use the helpdesk.

All you have is the traffic problem that they are having - and no this is not usual - I would say no more than once per year....

Thank you for your reply Patrician we appreciate it. There was a problem, it did NOT have the proper campaign name and I sent a message to Darrin as well since he did the mega site setup.

It is now working fine and the traffic problem has also been corrected.

... however, proving there is 'nothing' wrong with your account - only the Getresponse traffic tie up.
