Opt in on Blog comments please

I just finished putting part of my opt-in page on the upper right corner of my blog, Hummers Blog" Hummers Blog. I copied just the opt-in part of the html from the the source of the page Igot from Suzanne Morrison and pasted it into the widget add on section of the blog.
Will this be considered spam?
I know I get a lot more traffic(not sure why) to my blog than I do to my PIP site thru Google, and I do not want to mess that up. But I'm trying to get more subscribers.

Any feedback out there.

Hi Steid,
Copying your optin code is not spam, it is your own code and you can use it in all your pages.

Your blog and website have more traffic then your PIPS page becuase they dynamic - they keep chanching due to fresh content you ad all the time and you are targeting it too.

Put a link or a banner to PIPS on your blog, maybe someone will click on it, who knows!?

Your blog is looking good. The opt-in form is just fine the way it is, no worry about spam.

Besides Spam doesn't bother me anyway. I use to take it on fishing trips. (that was a bad joke)

Also, that is your blog and your web site. You can put anything on it you want to. Just remember that some things sell better than others.
