That would be from your PIPS SALES PAGE OR YOUR PIPS WEBSITE. As you may remember when you submitted your application for PIPS? The one requirement is to have a HostGator hosting account. So if someone is on your PIPS sales page OR your PIPS website and they sign up for PIPS, you will earn a HostGator commission. You can also promote any of the programs separately as well, although right now your focus should be on completing the 30 Days to Success training and implementing your marketing promotions for PIPS. By doing just that you will promote ALL of the programs in the PIPS Core Program with ONE effort. |

Oh yea, I do understand that my PIPS page will promote all programs, but how do I get more people on Host Gator and Myworldplus becuase it seems they pay more than the rest. I was just interested in that. It seemed hard to me to promote hosting, not a lot of people would be interested in something like that. I appreciate you taking the time to asnwer my question tho

Everything Stone is teaching you step-by-step can be used for the individual programs. So if you are blogging and submitting articles to get backlinks, make some of your articles or blogs about HostGator and add a HostGator banner there. Log in to your HostGator affiliate program to see all the banners they have. Copy the code and then paste it into a blog post. Really, though PIPS is the easiest way to promote ALL the programs. As you also remember the affiliate programs are optional. So if what you say is true that just certain programs will sell, well then people will just sign up for them. On your website they are all advertised separately and someone may just pick out one or the other if they are not ready for a whole business like PIPS. |

Ironweed, Host Gator sure pay a lot and that one of the program that I was excited.. But do you know that they will only pay for your recommendation commission after 60 days of your referral stay with them... Let say you get referral in Feb, so they will pay you in in the end of April. This what they call scam prevention.... Oh yeah... No need to worry how to promote Hostgator.. Just focus on PIPS... The new recruiting will automatically join the Hostgator through you............. |

The 60 day hold is really only fair if you figure how can they pay you $50 for a $10-15 sale? It wouldn't be possible. Even after 60 days they only got $20-30 from the sale. It is based on their being confident your customer will stay long enough for them to at least recoup their cost to pay the affiliates. It's only fair - and even more than fair if you look at it logically. If they get any profit it would be after you get yours which is 100% free to you. That is why people are in business to make a profit. You also have to consider they pay their employees for the technical and support services you and your customer get from them - that also costs them real money. |

You can promote HostGator in two ways: First, by promoting your PIPS sales page, you are also passively promoting HostGator. Next, you can also promote HostGator to offline businesses planning to have their own web presence. There are a lot of them out there. You can sell to them HostGator's 99.9% uptime guarantee which is not available to other hosting companies.

Be aware though that hostgator has made it necessary for new customers to verify their accounts by sending in data about their identities/credit cards. This may reduce the actual number of verified sales for commissions purposes because some customers might receive those emails in their spam folder and not know about them.

As far as I am aware this is only the case for people outside the United States and people who for some reason trigger a fraud alert.
