Hi Kym, Congratulations on your new blog. It looks very nice. I remember when I had my first decent blog created, I was so pleased. I like to think if you have a nice looking blog, it motivates you to write more posts, and more quality content too. It's like paying due respect to a nice looking blog. So start posting..... Peter Lee p.s. I left you a comment too |

Hi Kym, I'm new to the Forum and just browse thru your blog. It looks amazing and i'm impressed!! As I'm pretty new, I do have couple of questions and really hope someone in the forum could help out: 1. which kind of software you use to create the blog 2. how do you source for your related content? I'm using frontpage to create my website and it will be really time consuming to do all that using microsoft frontpage. Is there a different software you use to do them? Hope I could get some advice here. Thanks. Kian |

Thanks so much guys! Kian - in answer to you, I am using Wordpress - its FREE! and as far as my content goes, I write it! (although I have had a little help from Jeff Schumans service at the beginning! You can find Jeff in this forum if you need help with content - but I have now found that once I started writing myself - it just comes! You will learn so much in your journey that you will become an expert in your field and have plenty to write about! Good Luck to you - Kym |

Thanks Kym and Jeff for your recommendations. Kym your website is awesome. I review it again and I'm again impressed. Just wanna know do you think wordpress blogging is better or blogger.com blog is better? Any comment. Also, if use wordpress as a publishing platform, what is the equivalent to wordpress in the market? Any idea. I was using frontpage to publish my usual webpage but I would never able to put in so many stuff as what you have did, Kym? Any advise for me as a fresh newbies. Thanks, all. Regards, Kian |

Hi Kian I have never used blogger but alot of people do - so it must be ok! Everything on my blog is done through widgets etc in the blog admin panel. I dont use front page or anything else. My only blogging experience is with wordpress so far and I will stick with it since I find it very easy and there is alot of good info on Houdy's site, which is: WordPress Max|WordPress Guides For The Geek Impaired - (I can get any info I need for WP) - or I just ask Houdy and he helps me! WP is the platform! You just write a post and hit a button and youre published! It automatically pings aswell so its great! I love it and I have seen a significant increase in traffic since I started blogging! Hope that helps! Kym |
