Hi Charlie - I can think of several ways to spend $1000 better!

Have you actually seo'd your site?
If not - this is the first step and if you dont - even using the service youre talking about wont help much at all!

Suzanne Morrison (find her here) will seo your site for some insanely low price at her Pips update service and give you a book to tell you how to continue on with search optimization after she is done.

This will cost less than $50 (I think, cant remember!)
If you want to use a service like you suggest - I have seen many offering simialr service for a lot cheaper!

thanks for your reply i think your right there is better ways of spending my money, the saying "if its too good to be true it useualy is" comes to mind, and yes i have had my site seo'd by suzanne she done a great job and the price was good, thanks for the advise ile leave well alone.

Hi Charlie,

Here is my advice on this topic:

1) Did this company contact you out of the blue by email? If so, stay well clear. Especially an SEO company as surely you would be able to find them if they were good at what they do?

2) Never spend this much money with a company you have never used before. If you are keen on using them spend a small amount first e.g $50. This will let you test them out.

3) Getting this many backlinks all at once could raise a red flag in Google and look very unnatural

I you want to outsource link building you can do things like

- get articles Ghostwritte (Jeff Schuman writes great articles for around $10 a piece)
- Use a service like SubmitYourArticle.com to submit articles on your behalf (8 per month for around $40)
- Use a directory submission service. I know of at least one who will do 400 submissions for aroudn $40
- Signup for Bookmark & Share - The Power of the Button | OnlyWire and/or Social bookmarking service. Fast tagging and posting to all major social websites - SocialMarker.com for free to bookmark your pages quickly and easily
