Wondering if there is any plug in that hide all the Plug-ins in Word press. I would like to give access to my webmaster to design and edit the site only but would like to hide other stuff on the site like Plug-ins. Would appreciate your advice. |

You can see whatever plugins are available and/or activated. What is it that you imagine is the danger there? If you don't trust your so-called 'webmaster' then don't give him or her access to your account. Simple. |

Well the reason I am concern is my previous webmaster got the access and he downloaded my all the paid themes and paid plug-ins and after that he disappeared. I do not want to loos another one after spending lots of time to train them. What I learned from my experience is before build the business, build the system and if there is lacking in the system you will have problems. So, I do not want have another problem. This is not matter of trust, this matter of system I want to build. If you put fire and wax together it will melt!!!! no matter how strong personality the wax has. |

If they only have access to the admin panel they cannot download the plugins. If you give them FTP or shell access there is no way to hide them. I've never heard of this happening before. Get more expensive devs. |

Thanks for your input. Let me understand if I got it right. So, if I only give him the access to the Word press blog and not to the FTP then he would be able be download anything from my blog. Is that correct? I am sorry I did not get the shell access? Appreciate your support. |

Most people are honest, but the dishonest ones are easy to find they are usually out of work. If you give someone admin access to your wordpress installation they can steal anything there. I could tell you exactly how to do it, but that is not discussed (and should not be) on Warrior. | |
