How do I add a video to my Wordpress site

Hi there,
I have problem to embed my YouTube video to my thread, I copy the share link of my YouTube video and paste them to the thread and i checked: the Automatically embed media (requires automatic parsing of links in text to be on). But still not working and not showing anything!

Can Any One Help Me Please?

You just copy and paste the link of the Youtbue video from your browser address bar to the post. Here I am pasting the URL:

Hello Hameed:

I thought that I might add to this thread that if you were wanting to embed Youtube videos into your blog posts, pages, or sidebar, you can grab this plugin which will allow you to do just that; it is free, however, there is a Pro version which of course offers a few more options than the free one. I have found, though, that the free version works magnificently, and you can see how I am using it by visiting this page on my PIPS site.

Can anyone tell me if there is any Free Videos that will show how to make changes to a wordpress site? I want to add some things to my site, but I'm not sure how. I would very much appreciate any and all advice.

How To Add Video to A WordPress Blog | WP Dude

You might want to host your video on YouTube and embed the code into your site to cut back on your bandwidth useage.

Self hosting is ok for a few videos, but, if you plan on placing a lot of videos you may want to consider YouTube and a number of other hosting sites - this will save your bandwidth.

If you are only looking for some free WordPress video training (remember, you get what you pay for... Ü) check out this link:

do a search on YouTube for "wordpress" , you will fined a lot
of great video tutorials..

The easiest way is probably to use the smart youtube plugin. With it, you just have to put the url of the you tube video in your post, and when you publish it, your video will magically appear :-)

Allen, thanks for this post. I hear that Google is taking a long look at Youtube videos posted by Internet Marketers--weeding out many. Have you heard this?

Wow! I learned something new by reading this thread! It sure does help to come in here to read this forum! That's why I always want a direct link to this forum on my PIPS site for sure! I always wondered how in the world people posted youtube videos in forums, Haha, wow! Now I know! If I can do this anyone can! So, that's my next lesson aside from my PIPS training of course. Hi and thanks for the information. May I ask the difference of the Pro versus the free version? I mean, do you think the advantage would be so much or if I need the normal videos on my website, I can just use the free version? Thanks

What type of videos are you referring to? If it's a Youtube video, you may follow the steps on 2 Steps To Add Youtube Video to Wordpress. If other types of videos, try folowing the simple steps on Add or Embed Video in WordPress Post with other information about how to Wrap Text Around a Video; start Video Blogging in Five Easy Steps; andshould You Use a Video Service or Host Your Own.
