Is It Okay To Repost Stone Evans' Posts?
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

I admit I am having hard time composing a new blog post or a new article. I am from the Philippines, and English is not my native language. I can compose forum posts like this one, but not with articles or new blog posts, which are longer than forum posts with several paragraphs. Sometimes, when I badly needed new blog posts, I am tempted of just copying posts from Stone Evans' homebusinessideas.com and just repost them to my site. Is that okay? Since we are in the same boat, Stone and I are team mates, am I allowed to do that? Is it okay to just copy his post and repost them to my blog site?

Gomer -

You can do that but you must post Stone as the author and include his links.

Keep in mind the deal about 'duplicate content' - only the first time something is published online it gets a backlink - all other copies are ignored.

SO WHAT IS THE POINT?

The other thing is that a blog post doesn't have to be longer than a forum post and you write fine. You need to get over your problem with writing. It is a key skill for Internet Marketing. It doesn't have to be great - it just has to be logical and use your keywords.

An article directory may have a minimum and maximum number of words required to post - a blog does not - So it can be just one or two paragaphs.

Once you get started you will find it is not that hard - and actually having keywords will help you because it gives you a topic -

You might even try starting with reading one of Stone's articles and then just rewrite it in your own words.

Hi Pat,

Thanks for such encouraging words. I think I need to invest some time and efforts learning how to write not only for blogging but also for posting in article directories like ezinearticles. It's a big challenge for me, but I'll take it. I recognize how important it is to hone our writing skills if we want to succeed online.

I just noticed one blog owned by one Asian looking guy, vansgroup.org, everytime there's a new post in Stone's homebusinessideas.com, the same content appears in vansgroup.org. I think the guy has set his system to automatically copy and repost the content to his blog (through RSS and autoblogging?). At first, I thought it will have an effect to his search engine ranking, but if you will search for his used keywords (top home business) in Google, you will find his site on top of the rest. Sometimes, I am thinking if Google is really serious in their policy about duplicate content, and am tempted to just follow this guy's style.

Anyway, it was just a temptation (to just copy someone else's content like Stone's content). Good thing I am always able to get over it.

smamuel is that fella's name your talking about.
hey gomar their are many things you can do, I am hopless at writting articles you can outsource articles at around $5 ap pop at fiveer.com and their is also other cheaper ones with very good writing skills. slao you could get PLR articles for free BUT make sure you spin then otherwise no good. and you can also have people post to your site, a bit like an article place. I will give you more info later but i will tell you they are very good articles that i receive and now im getting around 5 articles a day. i don't touch the article headings or content whatsoever BUT as i am allowing them to post on my blog so at the end of the article i post my links and any key words i need.
eg:
For information on how to Make Money Online From Home and SECURE your futures INCOME NOW!
( hey you have a diffrent url) or something like
eg:
Are you struggling to make money online? Why not try Online Home Business Coach For Newbies

BUT within the articles they post their links. Which is fine as it still helps for my Google ranking and some how or rather i try to re-direct people back to my home page/sticky page and it's a keyword/site link so much value with this anchor text hence eg 1 & 2. I still ping and bookmark these articles as it all helps with my site. pinging is automatic and posting to about 34 bookmarking site takes a couple presses of the mouse pad, and both are free.
I now have a question for yougomar? do you still promote your other site? If not you should.
and why can't i download your free e-books "Thank you for visiting my blog site! Download your FREE GIFTS below"

Hi DDavis,

I'm sorry I am now in the process of changing my old website (the one hosted in HostGator), that's why the ebooks are no longer there. I am planning to just use it as a source of backlinks for the new website. That's another thing (backlinking) that I have to learn aside from managing my new PIP site.

Anyway, thanks for your advice. Sometimes when I have extra money, I am ordering some articles from Dustin Canon's justarticles.com. It just so happen now that I don't have extra money this time, I'm in tight budget, so I have to write my own articles now, or follow your advice.

One thing that really helps is to put your keywords up first, and then write to them, using each one, about two times. That will organize your thinking and if you make one paragraph about each keyword it will work well.

Thats what I am going to do.

Everybody has the right idea. What I see encouraging is that you are putting your best foot forward in writing blogs and articles. When I first started, I was scared but once you get going it is not that difficult. Language could be a barrier, but I commend you for going forward and trying your best.
How about Dustin's company? Total Content Domination.. They produce excellent articles and Dustin is always on top of everything making sure you are aware of what he is producing for you and making sure you are happy.

But anyway, I agree with some comments. You are doing great. Keep it up.
