I have an existing domain and website promoting a different business. I am considering joining PIPS. My question is - what happens to the existing business that I am advertising with my current domain if I transfer the domain?

I suggest just keeping your existing site the way it is and starting a new PIPS site. There's nothing wrong with having more than one site. Actually it's smart to have multiple sites so if something happens to one you have more.

Yes, I am wondering what happens if I transfer the current domain that is currently promoting a different business - ie does PIPS use one page only of a website - I am currently using 3 of 5 therefore leaving 2 available?

We require a domain that is registered directly with us to accept your application. That is a new domain and it has no other site on it. You could have one free hosting account for that domain and a free PIPS website, etc. Once you are a member then you can also request a free hosting account for your other website/domain. You would need to transfer those files yourself. One website per domain name. One domain per hosting account. | |

Patrician - Thank you for the concise reply. When you state "we" are you referring to PIPS or Just Host. Also - in regard to your statement, "once you are a member, you can request a free hosting account", are you referring to being a member of/and making that request of PIPS or Just Host or both. In addition, when signing up with PIPS/registering with Just Host, is one domain sufficient for PIPS or are 3 advisable? |

Hi KLT WE - means PIPS - PIPS - PlugInProfitSite.com PIPS - PlugInProfitSite.com/Domains (Reseller, Wild West Domains) PIPS - PlugInProfitHost.com = (Reseller, Just Host) Your relationship/membership would be with Plug-In Profit Site - Not Just Host - You would register a domain at http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/domains - which is our reseller account - (required) -- We would set up your hosting account on our account with Just Host and you would not need to sign up for anything with Just Host that relates to Plug-In Profit Site - You only need 1 domain name for Plug-In Profit Site. However if you want more than one you can always use them for redirecting affiliate links or for other purposes... |

I think your best bet would be to register a brand new domain with our partner domain registrar and use your existing domain for something else. Transfers can take a while and there can be complications. With a new domain registration we can have your new site up and running for you within 24 hours. |
