Paid site software
Share on:

Hi everyone,

I am hoping to get some advice and input about site software. I am hoping to find a software that can handle both paid site subscriptions and affiliate tracking all in one. I have found many versions of software available, they seem to range in price from a free limited software to very expensive packages. I am hoping some of you might be able to make some recomendations. I would rather have something that I know will do the job,at a decent price. Any help you could give in this area would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hi Mike - Sorry, I don't know of any software.

However, you might get more response to this question in the main forum or in the product review forum.

Give it a shot.

Thanks Pat,
I'll try the other sections and give this a day or two, maybe some of the other folks have some input.

Hi Mike,

You can use Joomla Joomla! with iDevAffiliate iDevAffiliate - Affiliate Tracking Software - Affiliate Program Software and JoomSuite Member - Pay To Access - to provide a paid subscription site with affiliate tracking. Joomla is free, iDev is about $99 and plugs right in to Joomla, JomSuite Member is about 59 Euro whatever that is in USD.

If you PM me with more info on what you would like to do I may be able to help.

Mike.

You should take a look at the RapidActionProfits Membership Bundle

RAP / Member Plus (non-affiliate link)

Best,

Brian

Hi again,
Thanks for the info, I think I've found something. It's called amember pro, it seems to have what I'm looking for. I'm afraid trying the joomla option would be to difficult for my tiny brain. Cost is about the same I'd spend with the joomla option, and $100 less than RAP. Plus they will install it for free.
I just need to make sure that host4profit meets the installation requirements, 1. PHP4.3.0 or later - yes
2. Mysql 3.22 or later - yes
3. unix/linux hosting ?
So if anyone has heard bad things about the software or had bad or good experience with it please let me know.

Thanks again
Mike

I forgot about amember, yes that has a good reputation as being a quality membership tool as well.
