New ideas

I know that I should know how to make money at this, but nothing seems to be coming my way. Any new ideas would help. My thought is that there probably are too many Plug-in-Profit sites out there. I am tired of saying I am new at this stuff, but I am and any help would be appreciated. Oh, one other thing, I am basically broke, used my retirement money for this and basically got ripped off. But, I'll figure something out if someone will help just a little and point me another direction. All the Evans stuff is done. ?????
I'll check back tomorrow. thanks

The best thing you can probably do for your website right now is get lots of good quality backlinks from a variety of sources. This will help to push your site up in the search engine results.

You can do this by writing and distributing articles, posting in a variety of forums, commenting on peoples' blogs, submitting your site to directories, blogging & social bookmarking etc. Use your keywords in the anchor text (clickable link text) where possible.

All of these things are free, but they do take time.

Cheers,
Suzanne

How do you figure you got ripped off? You were promised a free website and training along with the bonuses - all free. I know for a fact that all of that was delivered as promised.

You started October 26 - it is now January 15 - just under 3 months. I know it is easy to get discouraged already, but you can't allow yourself to go there because it will just make you lose what motivation you have.

Instead of being discouraged, you need to get more determined to succeed. Give it more effort and time.

Of course if you feel you have been ripped off it is no wonder you are not attracting more people - who wants to get ripped off?

What is it you have done to promote your business? How often do you blog (free)? How many articles have you submitted (free)?

I see you have 8 posts in this forum (free) any other forums you are posting in? It would help to post more often in any forum.

Have you learned any SEO? Have you chosen keywords and used them on your site, and all ad copy including all of the above?

One suggestion - the point of everything is backlinks. For instance your signature URL - I don't know what you have there but I can see it is not your domain name - I suggest that you replace it with your domain name so that is where the backlink will go.

Another thing I notice is that you have removed your name from the site and even the domain name. It may help you to have your own name there as people find it easier to trust another person than a nameless 'entity'.

So out of curiosity why would you remove your name? Are you ashamed? I am not being sarcastic but it may tend to make visitors wonder what you have to hide.

Please do not take offense at my questions, or take it personally. I want to help you and my remarks are in general and I have probably said the same thing 100 times in the past few years and believe them to be true.

As for too many PlugInProfitSites - I don't believe that. There are millions and millions who never heard of it, millions more that have never even hit the internet yet.

Further it is a known fact that sometimes people need to see an ad -6-7 times before they respond - so that would be good if you were the 6th or 7th one.

I am the person who processes new orders and I will tell you that people are making sales every single day. There hasn't been a day in 3 years where there were not several new applications.

So the program does work. The thing is maybe those that do make sales do the exact same things as you have done but do it more aggressively.

Marketing is a numbers thing. You need to build and sustain momentum by keeping up with more and more promotion every day if possible.

So let's hear what you have tried and please say how many and how often. I am sure lots of people will give you advice

Suzanne and Pat have hit the nail on the head for you and given you some good advice that won't cost you a dime to do.

Stone tells everyone right up front that it is your OPTION to spend money on his recommendations if your budget allows. The only thing you HAVE to spend is $24.95 for hosting. (I came up with that just by cutting pizza night to 3 times a month instead of 4) Obviously there was more spending than just $24.95 a month if you spent your retirement.

I have been ripped off more times than I can count or want to admit, but I will tell you one thing, Stone Evans and Pips is not a rip off! I finally got it through my thick head that Stone didn't write the 30 Day To Success Training just to be writing something. IT WORKS!

All my mentors at the PPG (which includes Suzanne) will tell you that if you only had time to do just one thing to grow your business...DO BLOGGING. After almost 3 months you have made only ONE blog post.

If you think it happens overnight and are not following the Training to a TEE minus all the spending (Free methods work) then YOU are ripping yourself off and NOT GETTING ripped off. I have been at this for 10 months and have seen progress every day, but know it is probably going to be another 12 before I can say I make a good living online.

If you would be willing to WORK at your business not expecting miracles (3 months is a miracle) and come here more often and ask questions, there are so many people that would be willing to give good advice and suggestions.

There is so much more to say but let someone else give a fresh 2 cents.

Hope you will turn it around and not cheat yourself out of one of the few LEGITIMATE businesses on the internet today.

To your success (some day)

Leon
