Maximum Paid Surveys

Hi Everyone. I am setting up a new PIPS site and notice that some PIPS sites are promoting paid surveys as a home business. I read the promo material on Suzanne Morrison's site, paid my $35 and signed up with Maximum Paid surveys. Over the course of the next 30 days I was given approximately 14 survey sites by Maximum Paid Surveys to signup with. That's 14 out of the 760 sites that Maximum leads you to believe are accessable. So, after about 30 days and several e-mail training blurbs from a Sam Parker (PaidCoach?) I sent their admin an e-mail asking how to access the rest of the 760 sites. Their response was a request to make out a support ticket, which I did. Their response was an email saying that I had to go back to their support site and check their response.

When I clicked on their email, an Antivirus 2009 dialogue box takes over my screen, it immediately starts reviewing my computer and registering spybot problems. You cannot cancel this intrusion. You have to shutdown Internet Explorer to get rid of this obnoxious intrusion. No and Cancel on the Antivirus 2009 dialogue box also start the site screening for problems. Further, when I did get to the admin site of Maximum Paid Surveys and clicked out of my post, while still on site, Antivirus 2009 again takes over my screen, unbidden. Now I can't see the admin's response. I have sent them 3 messages over the past week and no response. Do they have a virus infestation or is this a calculated way to avoid my questions? Any body else have any experience with Maximum Paid Surveys? Are there any legitimate survey firms that pay, as they say, $15- 250 per survey? Your advice would be appreciated.

My wife has been using MPS for about 6 months and has never had a problem?

As far as sending you survey sites that is not how it works. You need to log into their site and go to the "Paid Surveys Database" for your country. Then start signing up for survey sites one after another. It can take quite a long time to get through the database. If your country isn't listed it won't do you much good and I would get a refund.

As far as PIPs members promoting MPS it is or was a part of the PIPs program.

I use to use some spyware protection programs but they all did what yours is doing and made it impossible to visit some sites. It's not usually a MPS or other website problem, it is usually a spyware setting problem. MPS is one of the few legitimate survey programs. But, if you don't live in the right countries it can be useless.

Yeah i agree with stephen, Ive signed up with heaps of survey companies and havent received any surveys simply because i live in New Zealand.

That antivirus pop up is just that - a pop up - It more than likely has nothing to do with MPS and they are not even aware of it.

Your browser, as well as Windows itself and your own anti-virus programs should be set to not allow pop-ups and in fact if you can get the URL for that nightmare you may be able to block it out through some setting on one of the above.

For now try to clear your cache and run a cleaner (see below) to see if you can get away from it. Then put on your pop-up blocker.

I absolutely hate when that happens and I know it is super frustrating, so I wish you luck.

CLEARING YOUR CACHE & Etc.

The link works fine when I use it. Check you PC clock time and date to make sure they are correct. (In Windows this is in the Control Panel under ‘Date and Time’)

If it still doesn't work, and you are not in the USA, try to set the clock to US Eastern time when you have problems on the internet. The time difference can cause you not to be able to connect to some websites.

Other suggestions:

You may need to clear your cache and then try again.

In Internet Explorer or FireFox from the Tools Menu:

* Internet Options/General/Browsing History -- Delete Cookies/Delete Temporary Files/Clear History

If no, repeat above and reboot computer.

OR the long way if you don't use Explorer,

In Windows, find your version's equivalent of the following:

* Control Panel/Internet Options/Delete Files/Delete Offline Content, Delete Cookies/Clear History.

* Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Clean Up/Delete all Temporary Files

* Reboot your computer.

Security Settings

Add the site domain - pluginprofitsite.com - your website or the afifliate progams to your 'trusted sites' settings in Windows/Internet Options/Security - (again this can also be done from Internet Explorer)

As well, if you have 3rdparty security like McAfee or Norton or anti-spyware, etc., add the domains to those programs where you are 'trusting' the sites.

This is a likely reason - Check to see if you have a setting in your security software that says not to display advertisements on sites that you visit. I could not see banners on my own site until I unchecked this setting. Banners are advertisements.

Browsers

One thing that may help is if you do not use the browser from your internet service provider; only use it to log on to the internet and then minimize* the browser. Open up Internet Explorer and use that for anything you are doing on the internet. *Minimize is the little minus sign icon at the top right corner of your browser - this puts the open window down on your status bar so you can jump back and forth between browsers.

Also be sure you have the latest version of Internet Explorer, (you can go to Microsoft Update and see what the latest version is by searching on ‘internet explorer’ there. (check your version in the Help menu under ‘About Internet Explorer’.

You may also try to use Mozilla FireFox browser instead of Internet Explorer. Download Mozilla FireFox from Mozilla.com (free download)

Down Under etc.

Because Australia and surrounding areas are sometimes literally on a different day than in the US, this can cause some websites at times to not display. The trick here is to set your PC clock to US Eastern Standard time. This sounds silly, but it does work for our Australian members. Just a thought...

Registry Cleaner

Go to CCleaner - Home and download the free registry cleaner tool. Run this tool if nothing above helps and then reboot your computer.

You should also run this at least every few weeks to a month depending on how active you are on your computer/internet.

I'm with a paying survey site called Cashcrate and they have a lot of free surveys you can complete and get paid for it. I also have info about it in my blog.
