| I have noticed that there is a good number of forum members, both new and old, who have not bothered yet to create their signatures in this forum. I sort of thought that maybe they don't know yet how to go about it, a reason to come up with this thread to explain a little more on how to go about it. The fact that you are a PIPS member, it's by implication that you already have a website to promote, created for you by Stone Evans to do business. It's therefore important to ensure that your signature is created as you participate in this forum. To create your SIGNATURE, just go to your "User CP", the first item on the left on the menu bar in red, and click on it. In the dropdown menu, select EDIT SIGNATURE. Type the words you want to appear in the link to your site. After typing your preferred words, click on the "Insert Link" icon, a small blue globe-like icon, just below the "Smilies" white icon. In the pop-up small window, enter your PIPS website URL written beginning with http://www followed by your domain name e.g. YourDomainName.com (just example, NOT linked to any live website). After doing all that, test your link to see if it's live so that your visitors do not get disappointed with broken links. I hope this will help those, who haven't yet known how to do it. I will feel very happy to see all the members of this forum having their signatures with links to their websites. Good luck! |

I have to plead guilty on this one!! Although I pride myself in making it through the 30 days success, I understand you miss things the first round through. Started reading this forum, went back to the training and corrected my signature ASAP!!! Thanks for all those who know this and can direct the ignorant! =o)

Please use 'normal' size font - I realize this Warrior Forum rule is in some obscure place I can't quote at the moment but it does say to use a normal size font - normal would be the same size as the font in the posts. (you can use bold though) Yours looks really big. |

Same problem here, created sig. but yet nothing? I don't get it. I am starting to think the forums went back to paid signatures. Anybody who created a sig and can't see it, I am pretty sure you need to pay for it just like your picture now. The forums also went back to paid members in the War Room so cough it up! lol

You are mistaken, Joseph. Signatures are free. Signatures may not be available until after a minimum number of posts (25-50 posts) due to all the trolls and miscreants who join only to spam their links in their signature. If you had a signature and it is now gone, then you may have violated a signature rule and now no longer have the privilege. The "picture" you may be referring to may be the 'avatar' - you have a 'picture' for your profile and an 'avatar' for your posts. You may be confusing the two and have added a picture but not an avatar. Generally using the Warrior Forum is free except for private, paid sub-forums for example The War Room, and some other advertising boards. |

Hiya, I've done the above (and thank you for the very clear explanation) and have more than the required number of posts, but when I make a post in a thread I can't see my signature (and I have the 'show your signature' box ticked too). Can you please tell me if you can see my signature? If not any idea how I get it to show?! Thanks, Shell |

Well that's weird, now I can see it plain as day - typical! I think I know what's caused it to be hidden before too, I had manually done the link and put html in (which isn't allowed) so I think it automatically blocked it, so if your signature isn't displaying re-do your links exactly as described by Goleza (thank you!) and you should be fine! Thanks again! |

You don't use HTML in this forum - you use BB Code which is almost the same. It will never work with HTML so please don't wait. Do yourself a favor and follow some of these suggestions so that you will create a signature that will display here, ASAP. For example type the text you want to display, like: 'Authentic Health Coach' and then highlight it; then click the globe with the chain icon. It will prompt for the URL Type the URL of your site in the box and then the system will enclose it in the BB code tags for you. What will display is 'Authentic Health Coach' and it will be hyperlinked so that if someone clicks it they will be redirected to your website (URL) (...and you will see what BB code looks like (very similar to HTML) |

rename or make another thread with the title "the art of wf signature"! marketing speaking is an artform to make signatures that catch the eye and "invite" the user to click them without using "geocities-like" colors and things! don't you agree people?

Is it okay to have two hyperlinked words pointing to only one URL in a single line of your forum signature? Like for example, Click here to make money online from home with Gom! The words "click here" is hyperlinked and it's pointing to my home page, and the keywords "make money online from home" are also hyperlinked, and are also pointing to the same URL, my home page. Is it okay to set it up like that?

Hi Gomer, I don't see why it would not be allowed since nothing is linked to an affiliate link (like PIPS sales page) ... and I WAS going to say, but I don't see the purpose. But NOW I think I do - pretty cool idea - |

| @Pat: My purpose is, related to link building. Two links (that are pointing to my site) are created in every single forum post. Doubling the number of links being created. Will it make any difference, in SEO?

Hi Gomer, I see what you are doing in forum signatures all over the WF and it appears to be okay. In terms of SEO it is the alt-txt that is the key SEO factor and must be relevant to both the forum meta and your site's page meta, i.e. the same as Article Directory Marketing. If you really want to scale it up here are some tips: 1) Create a WarriorForum blog 2) Publish three unique articles about a three step method with the same meta: 2.1. Publish article #1 on your domain Note: The three step method with an Overview, Details, Conclusion 2.2. Publish article #2 on your WF blog Note 1: with an "alternative" Overview, Details, Conclusion Note 2: Be very careful to select the appropriate WF Tags, so as to be exact match 2.3. Publish article #3 in cooperation with another niche blogger and/or an article directory. The key point is to make sure you publish on your blog first. You already know why. Some people (me included) actually mix the order of publishing up a bit for diversity every so often, so as the search engines do not detect a trend. It probably does not matter at all, but what applied a year ago does not apply today. In this way it can't hurt your efforts, but when the search engine methods change your efforts are not for the worse. Jeffery 100% :-) |

Like your new photo. Much more professional! No, the two links will not make any difference in terms of SEO. One will suffice. Too many links to the same "page" from the same website (Warrior Forum) would actually be detrimental to SEO. Eventually the SEs will ignore most of the links. You would see this in the SERPs after a few months...but in the meantime you wouldn't even be aware. Best practice is to mix it up by using links to the internal pages of your website, so they get the traffic from the WF, i.e. people you are will to hel FREE and people with money in their wallet. You are smart to use the WF Sig for two purposes GOM and the first is: 1) Help others. 2) Help yourself. Your sig is not all about making money. Convince us that your are here to contribute as a team member. Compel others outside the WF to buy. Jeffery 100% :-) | |
