Hi folks, I've posted here a few times as I got my pips program under way, and I have a question thats been irking at me for months. I have a review website, you can see it at w dot wealth matrix review dot com, its under de/construction at the moment. I've used a template for the website that makes a colored background to the text and to the overall look of the site. Now, personnaly I chose it because I like it, and I enjoy visiting sites that are more than just black text on white, so here's the Q. All the uber professional sites I see are plain black text on white background, with a minimum of color in the title/name area. Does this attract customers better, look slicker, perform better, look more conservative ( a look I want for my site), etc etc. Is it just better business to avoid making sites with a colored background to them? It is easier to blend adsense with b/w. Blending with color has been almost not possible. Thanks, I'm just as interested to know what you prefer as much as what works best. Rog |

Hi Rog, What the professionals did, simply copy them. The reason why it works because it appeals to the general public. I did the exact same thing (as you can see on my website - link at bottom) and I'm getting results! That page has been up for, how long? 2 weeks TOPS. I have got 9 subscribers so far. So I can say that yes, what they're doing does work and it does perform better in comparison to what we come up with ourselves. Of course, I had a mentor to guide me in that page. You should get one too! I'm sure there are tons of Kiwi Warriors! Asher |
