Been There Done That
Share on:

I always come back to this forum to be more and more desaponted. Really

2 reasons
1. some members still posting a thread title “how to make money with PIPS” and in the bode the talk about article marketing, directory submission and blogging. Well it’s nice but for god sake let’s be more helpful and PROs at least for the new comers. If you want to talk about, traffic explain your strategies if you have one. People visit forums to learn and get help, more specific and out of experience at least.
2. Stone Evans has changed the programs at the PIPS sales letter a gain (and I stopped counting, it’s maybe the 10s time). And with out any notice to PIPSers (not me, my team and my friend who I am in contact with; at least). So STONE PLEASE STOP DOING THAT.

I have joined PIPS a long time ago, but I tried to learn everything I can about internet marketing. You know! making money online and building an online business is very hard and it is all about marketing, harder than that is to try to have some profit out from someone others online business (2 tier affiliate programs and network marketing).
And I have some thoughts I want to share with you:
1. Try to be deferent. How many PIPSers out there? How many of them still have the same old web-page? Its nice page but you need to have a real website in order to make real money from the web.

2. SEO is not only about link building, I know so many of you, and I know how hard you are trying to build back links, (I always spy on PIPSers and research their domains, where they get back links from, how many pages they have on their website and how effective are their SEO strategies) and most of them still amateurs. I know a member who has more than 9000 back links to her website, with PR 5, she had bought PR7,6,5 back links (I am sure it cost her a lot of money).

She still has the same old page, with some other click bank products pages. And I am almost sure she hardly gets any traffic from the search engines!
Why is that?
Good question.
The title tag of the main page is Home based Business, the other pages have the Products name as the title tag, and some other pages like links, partners, affiliate programs, and work at home reviews.
How much competition does she have? She will never reach the first SEPRs with those pages and keywords.
I have a 15000 pages website (it’s about 100 pages I built and optimized and the others are an article directory with 1300 authors) with 5046 back links as for today. But I manage to have about 350 visits each day only from the search engines, for less competitive keywords and more than make money niches.
It is not bad to write about losing weight, insurance, cell phones, mortgage and even credit cards with less competitive keywords as a title tag and the page url and anchor text from social networks and bookmarks only.
To make money you need to be creative.
Sales is a thinking man game.

3. Stone is making me lose my mind with his changes; we still refer visitors to PIPS sales page, thinking that there he still promote SU and the 4 affiliate programs we signed for. But he changes the program without any note (not all of us visit this forum daily not even weekly), I think we are partners and he need to treat us as partners. I don’t care about the em… program I want to keep SU and if he want to add new program to build his own new down line from our traffic, at least (out of respect only) notify us by e-mail, 5 minutes of his time will hurt his business that much.

4. Internet marketing is:
SEO and organic SE traffic
Article distribution
Forums and networking
Press Release
Linking, from articles, directories, bookmarking, social network pages, videos
Blogging
Trends (some trend keywords can get you a 1000 hits per day if you keep you eyes opened and know how to use those keywords).

Long post I am sorry for that, I will post it in the http://www.workfromhome-business-opportunity.com/
Blog and I will be more than honored to read your comments here and in the blog

I think the problem here is that more often than not the people who make these posts are looking for the magic bullet. The answers are already in this forum if people are prepared to look for them.
2. Stone Evans has changed the programs at the PIPS sales letter a gain (and I stopped counting, it’s maybe the 10s time). And with out any notice to PIPSers (not me, my team and my friend who I am in contact with; at least). So STONE PLEASE STOP DOING THAT.
I agree it would be useful if PIPS members were notified of any changes including in the 30 days to success material.

1. Try to be deferent. How many PIPSers out there? How many of them still have the same old web-page? Its nice page but you need to have a real website in order to make real money from the web.
I disagree, there are millions of web sites that compete in the same niche as PIPS the chance of someone who is not from PIPS visiting more than one (unless they are using traffic exchanges) is extremely low.

What exactly is a "real" web site? Your web site is totally dependent on your marketing strategy. There are people online making millions of dollars without a web site at all or at least with a very simple one using PPC.

The title tag of the main page is Home based Business, the other pages have the Products name as the title tag, and some other pages like links, partners, affiliate programs, and work at home reviews.
How much competition does she have? She will never reach the first SEPRs with those pages and keywords.

Sales is a thinking man game.
The PIPS site is poorly optimized however there are services offered by PIPS members who will optimize your site. This is also why it is recommended to install a blog.

I agree with you 100% that if your site is not properly optimized then your link building will be much less effective. However there are plenty of posts on this forum and other places on the web which teach you how to properly optimize a site and how to perform effective keyword research.

If you want to talk about, traffic explain your strategies if you have one. People visit forums to learn and get help, more specific and out of experience at least.
So where are your strategies!

It is not bad to write about losing weight, insurance, cell phones, mortgage and even credit cards with less competitive keywords as a title tag and the page url and anchor text from social networks and bookmarks only.
Sure you can drive traffic this way but it is not going to convert well if you are trying to promote PIPS. If you write an article about weight loss promote a weight loss product or service.

Sales may be a "thinking mans game" but it is also a game of conversions and cost per conversion when you are talking about internet marketing. Often you hear about people talking about traffic but you very rarely hear about conversions. I'd take 500 highly targeted visitors over 5,000 poorly targeted visitors any day.

Her are several mistakes
1. There are millions of websites in the niche (make money online and home business), but your competitors are the ones who offers the same opportunities that you offers.

2. the chances of visitors visits more than one PIPS site are very high, because
a. all PIPSers are using the same marketing strategy they learn from Stone
b. all of them uses the same traffic exchange, and link building programs.
c. all of them have the same keywords on the tags and the body articles of the site.

and more of that if some one new to PIPS found out about it, he will more likely search for the term Plug in Profit Site and where he will land??????

and again I am not a against it but at least try to add more pages with your own content, give your visitors a chance to know you, your knowledge, your reviews, your ideas.

and by real website I ment a website that has more content, more options to visitors (If 1% of my visitors like PIPS, I want to be able to offer the other 99% some thing else)
I know that you can make money with any well written page (I make money from my siquidoo lens) but you need to have your own identity, you need to build your name as a brand, start today and you can make it happen.

You need to learn the basics, and try to take care of your business, no one can help your business as you can because it's yours and you care for it.

O.K. here is one for you, long tail keywords,

write an article with a long tail keyword on the title and in the article, (make it a report even) ad the same keyword on your page URL then upload it, and bookmark it (especially to dig to make the search engines index this page fast).
after that write another short article about that page you have already uploaded, and link from the article to that page (deep linking) post this article to social networks profile (like siquidoo, hubpages, live journal as many as you can) posted with your article destribution service (easilly build back links to that page as you did with your home page.

and yeh don't forget to submit a press release there are hundred free ones like PRlog.

a phrase like "based business home job opportunity work" has about 17 searches per month with 7,050 Search results, so i am sure you can make your page with this phrase show on the the First SERPs very soon, and some time your Digg page will show very fast on the first.

why not, you are an SFI affiliate so why don't you build some reviews of SFI products
SFI has a health related products, health care, and others.
you can write a review about click bank products (I hate click bank but some times they have a hit)

Her are several mistakes
1. There are millions of websites in the niche (make money online and home business), but your competitors are the ones who offers the same opportunities that you offers.
Your competitors are anyone competing in the same niche not just other PIPS members. Thats like saying only other Italian restaurants in my area are in competition with me even though there maybe Thai (the best), Chinese, Indian and Japanese restaurants.

There are far, far more people searching for work at home and make money online terms than there are searching for plug in profit site.

I also think the majority of people will make their mind up on the spot, it's like car salesman, they know if the person leaves the yard the chances of them making a sale is extremely low. I think the same applies to web sites (sales letters in particular).

. the chances of visitors visits more than one PIPS site are very high, because
a. all PIPSers are using the same marketing strategy they learn from Stone
b. all of them uses the same traffic exchange, and link building programs.
I was actually implying the internet as a whole, sure some of the techniques Stone promotes are going to result in people seeing PIPS sites over and over again but they are only a tiny fraction of traffic on the internet.
c. all of them have the same keywords on the tags and the body articles of the site.
This actually reduces the chance of people seeing PIPS sites, if everyone was using different keywords, PIPS sites would pop up more often in the SE's.

The point I am trying to make is often people say you must do this and you must do that and often it isn't true. There are so many different ways you can generate traffic on the internet and there is no right or wrong way to do it. For example you could just create loads of Squidoo lenses, Hub Pages, Ezine Articles and send all of the traffic directly to your PIPS sales page and I guarantee that only a very small minority will have come across PIPS before.

and by real website I ment a website that has more content, more options to visitors (If 1% of my visitors like PIPS, I want to be able to offer the other 99% some thing else)
I know that you can make money with any well written page (I make money from my siquidoo lens) but you need to have your own identity, you need to build your name as a brand, start today and you can make it happen.
Sorry but I am going to have to disagree again You don't need to build a brand and you don't need to have an identity, Stone is the brand and the identity.

I am not saying building a brand and having an identity is not recommended and I am not saying SEO'ing your site is not worthwhile either I am just saying it is not necessary. Like I said in my previous post it is down to the traffic generation strategy you are going to use.

and by real website I meant a website that has more content, more options to visitors (If 1% of my visitors like PIPS, I want to be able to offer the other 99% some thing else)
This is flawed thinking, if you think only 1% of your visitors are going to be interested in PIPS then you are promoting the wrong opportunity. If you start putting multiple opportunities in front of people then you make it even harder for the person visiting your site to make a decision.

You can make money from PIPS leveraging other sites and just sending people to the sales page in fact I think a lot of people would be more successful that way. You do not need a "real" site.

O.K. here is one for you, long tail keywords,

write an article with a long tail keyword on the title and in the article, (make it a report even) ad the same keyword on your page URL then upload it, and bookmark it (especially to dig to make the search engines index this page fast).
after that write another short article about that page you have already uploaded, and link from the article to that page (deep linking) post this article to social networks profile (like siquidoo, hubpages, live journal as many as you can) posted with your article destribution service (easilly build back links to that page as you did with your home page.

This is a great strategy but it goes back to my point earlier about the information already being here. You could probably find 100+ variations of this strategy on this forum and I don't think people should have to repeat the same material over and over again. Most forums people will just ignore you if you ask a question which has already been answered multiple times before.

One clearly defined choice is better than a lot of choices. When you give people a lot of choices they usually don't make any.

If you start putting multiple opportunities in front of people then you make it even harder for the person visiting your site to make a decision.

Again it's a business, and the basics are the same, how to run the business is up to you and you only.
4 years a go i started the work at home business but with no success at all, I had no idea how to write (English is not my first language). till I reached a point that I am working for me not for any one else, I need to present myself to people not (ston, michle, rachel or any one else). now I have a team of 9 defecated partners we work together and every one at his own.
they still look at me as their leader even some of them (especially Nancy Jones) ar making more money than me.

here are some question i want you to think about:

1) why people search with the search engines? how many results do they click on? why they change the phrases with their search?

If you cannot delever some choices people will go back to the SE and search for others.
I am amember of SFI but honestly I am making only few dollars there, but I am a member with other health related program that make me good amount of monthly income.

in my website I am selling a ready made affiliate store, and for each 10 stores i sell i make one referral to PIPS and more than half of them quite very fast.

the best money PIPS provide come from host4profit.

I know how to make money online, but I wanted a program that can help my referrals, my team, that's why i joined PIPS, but still i have to make a hard effort to help them.

I wish you all success.
