I am happy to tell you I am back on page 1 google for my keywords

Make This Your Home Business

Just by doing 1 blog post a day since my earlier fall back to page 30. My blog has also climbed from page 5 to page 3.

More proof that you can be successful if you work at it.

Great job Graham. I was interested to see how long it would take you to get back on top. Thanks for the inspiration also. Tim

Congratulations in making it to Google page 1. I'm just curious though, how many searches are there per month for this Keyword phrase "Make This Your Home Business". I tried to check Google Keyword Tool and no search volume shown.

Congratulations again.

Hello, PIPS team:

I've noticed that some of my keyword pages sometimes jump around in the SERP standings. A page will show up on the first page for a number of days (or weeks), then it will drop down to page two or three for a day or two, then it will be back on page one again!

Sometimes, I will do new blog posts or create new links between pages to help boost the rating. But sometimes, I haven't done anything that I know of to affect it.

I don't worry about it too much - I just keep doing what I'm doing and keep trying to increase my efforts no matter what the SERPs tell me.

Peter, that is my question, too. I have a few keyword phrases that show up on page one with a few million, or even 20 million other returns. But when you add "quotes," the returns are in the low thousands.

And for some keyword phrases, they barely show up in the actual search volume when you check it with a tool.

I am still going to plug along, doing what I'm doing, but I think the real SEO/keyword challenge is identifying keywords people are actually looking for, then optimizing for those words.

Well done Peter!

Like mentioned, there are millions of competing pages for the generic long tail keyword without quotes. And we know that is mostly based on the "home business word"!

It ends up being a real good find once you add quotes to the search.
Hardly any real compertition.

I also know how professional your writing is Peter, especially since you have written for me! So, get some (lots) of one way backlinks pointing to it., with some RS feed sites for good measure.

I'll bet money you can get a PR2 in less than a few weeks for that page, which you deserve for sure.

Anyway. Well done again.
Sincerely,
John
