Personally I love HostGator. I've been using them for a long time and haven't ever had any issues. I don't find them difficult to use at all. Their control panel (admin area) is same as every other cpanel I have seen with my various hosts over the years, except Host4Profit. It's actually H4P that is the odd man out as far as I have seen.

I do understand why it was dropped though and hopefully this is the last change to PIPS for a while!

I love HostGator Service. I have a reseller account ($24.95/month) with them and hosted quite a number of domains there. But as Pat pointed out, I understand the concern of 60 day hold by HG make it not an ideal choice for PIPS.

Besides H4P, I think Kiosk Web Hosting and Online Marketing Services is a good option. They are a reliable company endorsed by many big marketers http://www.wwkiosk.com/about-us.php. Their silver package cost only $18.95/month while their Platinum package ($24.95 - 1Gb space, 75GB bandwith) - which is better than H4P. The part that I like most is they include 4x10 matrix that allow Pipster to earn not only form direct referal but also to leverage on downline's efforts.

Here's my promise:

The only way I will ever change a program on the PIPS sign up page again is if one of them goes defunct.

Period.

I have never made this promise, and I will keep it.

I apologize for the confusion of recent weeks. There will be much smoother sailing from here forward.

Sincerely,

Stone Evans
And yet you've juts pulled HostGator!

Please reinstate, I act as the training co-ordinator for over 80 PIPS users and growing.

Having just written the guidance documentation for them all, they are all mighty upset, my phone hasn't stopped today!

In the same way that you said above re SU, please reinstate this asap.

At the same time as you offered HostGator, you pulled your signup rebate incentive, and I note that that hasn't been reinstated.

Is this a case of take with one hand and now take with the other, or will you please reinstate at least one either HostGator OR the rebate?

That's a shame.. just after I changed all my PIPS Reviews, FAQs, bonus pages, training emails etc. I was also enjoying these nice $100 commissions per sale

I think the way that the choice was presented on the sales page could have been the confusing thing e.g. having two separate sign up forms

Hopefully no more changes after this.

Cheers,
Suzanne

I agree, I personally would have dropped H4P for HG if it was my call however I can understand why that is never going to happen.

If I was Stone I would host all PIPS sites on my own fully managed virtual servers and set up my own 2 tier affiliate programme. Seems like wasted opportunity to me.

Mike.

Personally I am very happy with H4P. I have found their service excellent and would not want to change to another hosting service but it was quite nice that we could offer a cheaper one to prospective sign ups

Tip Re: Host Gator dropped from PIPS

Stone good job again, the 60day hold is a bad omen as far as am concern. Am sure many have lost commission due to that, beside its too complicated for newbies. Infact the click thru rate for host4profit is impressive.

The old saying comes into its own here "if it aint broke dont fix it" As for cost it will always be possible to find cheaper I know of a very good hosting company that starts at $4.95 per month with very good support. Cheaper IS sometimes better!

Did you know that HostGator has probably the most popular affiliate programme out of all the hosting companies? I am yet to see anyone out of PIPS promoting H4P? I think that is more of a "bad omen" than the 60 day holding period.

Just because it isn't part of the PIPS program doesn't mean you can't keep promoting it. I just got a HG sign up yesterday. Another hosting account (not affiliated with PIPS) I promote that offers $65 per sign up is one of the my best earners.

Everyone who has a sales page which is every member in this program is promoting Host4Profit. So I don't know why you say that.

Most people probably believe 'a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush' - meaning Host4Profit pays $10 from the first month and for every month the customer stays active.

Whereas HostGator will hold the one-time $50 for 60 days - specifically if the customer does not pay the first and second month billing, the affiliate gets nothing.

We have a high rate of people who quit during the first month when money doesn't start pouring out of their CPU the day after their site is up - or really as soon as they see the training and realize this will require some w-o-r-k -

... so it probably would be a lot of unhappy people that would get nothing for their sign up.

And as Houdy says - you can promote HostGator on your site and elsewhere - and have two hosting affiliate memberships.

I agree with you Pat I think we would all rather recruit 20 people into H4P for one month than 20 people into HG for one month I know which one I will take.

Stone set-up my Plug in Profit site and Homepage with HostGator. What now as I don't
have a Host4Profit account right now because I have a HostGator account. HostGator is
cheaper, and imho, the better service. Their online support is what all other competitors
should strive for.

You can just keep HostGator - and can keep the affiliate program on your website if you want.

You can just not make commissions from WarriorPro if you did not have a Host4Profit hosting account for 3 billing periods.

I shot an email to H4P today asking them for an assistance to change my DNS. They replied that if it would help they could reduce my hosting fees to 11.95 per month. I believe the features would be downgraded with the price. Has anyone got similar mail before?

Today, I've just got an email saying that I have a new web hosting client. Do I not got commissions for this if I don't have a Host4Profit hosting account even though it's my
Internet Warriors ID#: 55377 that got this hosting client?
