Top recommended internet marketing strategies

I would ilke to know what in your opinion could be the Top 3 internet marketing strategies suggeste by Stone to be more effective and get faster results.

As Stone put it if there was only one thing he could do to market his site it would be Article marketing. That would be number one. Number two would be social marketing using social sites. Blog commenting would be my third choice and of course blogging.

Those methods are free.

Hi Oscar,

I'm not an expert...just my 2 cents.

First, you must decide to choose from either Pay-per-click marketing or Article marketing.

PPC involves money & you should have a good understanding of how it works. It is the fastest and most targeted method to drive traffic, and you get more control of the result you want to achieve.

Article Marketing encompasses a lot of other strategies...article submission, squidoo, blogging, social marketing, SEO, etc. Basically you need to write or have somebody write for you.

You should look inside of you. What do you think you're more comfortable doing?

I started with PPC but not with PIPS. However, I would highly recommend article marketing if you're just starting, especially with PIPS. Eventually, you want your PIPS website to rank in the search engines, and articles are like "food" for your site...it's needed for it to survive. Then you can try PPC to supplement your marketing efforts.

In the end, whatever method you choose, you have to put consistent effort to reach your goal.

I would suggest finding one form of marketing that interests you and become an expert at it. That may take several hundred hours to do.

I always like article marketing and more recently blogging with social bookmarking. However.....

I know people who only do pay per click advertising. Others do strictly traffic exchanges.

There are internet marketers who build huge lists and do 100% email marketing. They became experts on using co-registration leads for example.

Social media such as video marketing is big right now and there are people branding themself and selling affiliate products right in the video itself.

Anyway you get the idea. I say it is better to master one form of advertising and become an expert at it before adding a second one.
