WordPress 3.4 -> 3.4.1

Just a heads up about WordPress version 3.4.
There are bugs in 3.4 that prevent custom page templates from loading. Custom pages for internet marketers are typically full width pages for landing pages, squeeze pages etc. and are not limited to mobile templates etc.

The newest version of WordPress is 3.4.1
and in the majority of instances will automatically fix the bugs. However, there are instances with custom themes with custom page templates that require "new code" added to all of the custom page templates. Also, if you have "existing" content or copy be very careful before upgrading from 3.4 to 3.4.1 because you may lose the content or copy with themes that are not 3.4.1 compatible. The solution is to contact your theme developer for new files. And if the new files are not available it is mandatory to replace the theme.

Warning > Do not replace the code unless you know what you are doing.
Here is the 3.4 code that needs replaced:
Code:
<?php  /* Template Name: Full Page */ get_theme_file( 'header' );
Here is the correct code for a Full Page Template.
Note the code must be on separate lines:
Code:
<?php
/* Template Name: Full Page */
get_theme_file( 'header' );
Warning > Do not replace the code unless you know what you are doing.

Hi Jeffery - as of right now I am happy to report that I have had no problems with any sites with the upgrade of any prior version to 3.4.1. effecting PIPS theme (latest).

Of course now installing 3.4.1 for all new sites.

i am using Softaculous instead of Fantastico

Hi joejeas,

Here is a link that explains how I cloak affiliate links:

Also, Google's Matt Cutts commented on the Google Blog that the bots can now detect cloaked links in WordPress and it has negative consequences in the SERPS.
