Hi all,

Could you please tell me differences between word articles and word blog articles. I found them on Mr. Jeff Schuman's site. I am confused a little bit. Thanks a lot.

Hi Huyen,

Word articles would be articles that are written to submit to article directories all over the web. Word blog articles would be articles written specifically for posing on your blog.

Hope that helps,

Alan

Glad I could help guys

There's a big difference between the two and they each have a different purpose. It's good to write articles, or have them written for you, and then submit to articles directories to build backlinks to your site. It's also important to post articles to your blog as often as possible so that your site is constantly being updated with new, fresh content. Usually you would post a different version of the article to your blog.

The difference is in the number of words, blog post can be 300 words or less, article for article marketing should be around 500 words, to fit most directories.
When you write for you blog you use you keywords differently than in articles.

Alan,
What is a backlink? I hear that a lot but do not know it's meaning. Thanks

Blog posts can be any size. 300 words is a good number; however, don't limit yourself to just 300 words if you have more to say. Most article directories have a minimum word amount. The more prominent directories require at least 400 words. I would strive for 400-500 words. Don't go more than 800.

Keywords should always be used in the title, first paragraph, last paragraph and scattered in between for both articles and blog posts. You want about 3% keyword density.

A backlink is any link on a web page that points to your site. For example, in my signature I have four links. They're all pointing to a web page on my site. The first one goes to my home page. You want to build as many relevant backlinks to your site as possible. Also, you want to use your keywords in the backlink that you want to rank for in search engines whenever possible, just as I do in my signature.

Thank you for all explaining; It is very clearly for me should order word articles or word blog articles because I don't have time to write articles.

Best Regards,
Huyen

Hi Huyen ...

But???? You want to vary those keywords..

its never a good idea to write 5 articles and have all of them pointing to "make money" if that is your keyword....

You must variations or long tail keywords as your anchor text such as:

Make Money Online
Work at home to make money
Making Money Today

etc....

Never just have all your links pointing to one keyword...mix it up a bit....

Take care

Yes, very good advice, Jeff.

When I'm submitting articles to directories, I change the keyword every time to some sort of variation of my main keyword(s) I'm targeting. The search engines don't like it when all of your backlinks contain the exact same keyword. It's seen as unnatural link building and considered spamming and will hurt your rankings
