GetSubscribers - any feedback?
Share on:

I am about to run a few solos and also thinking about giving the getsubscribers service a shot.

Has anybody used it and if so what are your results, I know where the subscribers come from as I have signed up to autoresponders through their service before but I do remember unsubscribing pretty quickly on more than one occasion.

Hmm, if it did not tickle you before it might not tickle you this time. You have been out of IM for a while I believe? Some of those services are hunting grounds for malicious IMers, so if you do it I suggest that you stop and spend hours and hours of your time "scanning" their links before you visit them.

Just a few tips. If you really want targeted traffic why not advertise here on the WF? You'll spend more money in some cases, but your almost guaranteed not only Targeted Visitors, but also Qualified Subscribers. Historically, the most successful lists target Qualified Subcribers "after" a successful traffic campaign. So put that in your plan.. its called Followup Email Marketing and works best on this forum vs. any forum that I know of.

Thats the trick these days.. Targeted Visitors and Qualified Subscribers.

Jeffery 100% :-)

In the minute it took me to write this post.. someone died of Covid 19. RIP.

As leads go, Getsubscribers are some of the best - this is because they are not some anonymous email addresses that have been sold 'down the river' -

These are actually people who have opted-in specifically to your ad and who have confirmed their intent (double opt-in).

In my personal experience they are better than any other purchased leads.

Double-opt-in of course is always best from any source - and even paying as much as $1 for a 'premium' lead back in the day was no better response rate than a free or cheap lead source.

With that said, I still believe buying leads is like pouring money down a black hole - unless you can accept that you may get 1 or 2 subscribers or 1 or 2 sales out of a huge volume.

Of course with Getsubscribers you will get just as many as you pay for and they will come in slowly because they are 'fresh' (not a regurgitated list of stale addresses).

The best way to get leads free is with a leads portal and/or your PIPS 'Free Newsletter' web form - not only free but better because they are specifically interested in what you have to offer. "warm" lead.

p.s. the other thing that is good about Getsubscribers is they are allowed by Getresponse even though they are purchased. While you can upload any list of purchased from anywhere leads against their TOS - you might get away with it - but if you get spam complaints they will shut down your account - even if you have paid a year in advance.

Bottom line is that may be a very expensive gamble.

Jeff its not that I have been out of IM for a while, I have always been here in some form or another, I am just plain aweful at generating traffic lol. I am looking at what is being suggested by both Stone and Russell from Pips and DotComSecrets and need to get a feel for where my money is best spent on advertising.

I have never spent a penny on advertising and now I am ready I really don't want to mess up!

I do have what i consider a pretty sweet squeeze page at letsbuildalist.net that is going to be my list for building my pips business on the backend and have been customising further every single email that is in the original pips autoresponder. Note: not changing it, just customising the links more Oh and moving the entire thing to aweber as i like it better.

So my game plan is to move targetted traffic to that page and get back some of my advertsing money through OTO's on the backend while using the list to build my pips. I just wanted to be clarified on the buy leads option too!
