my greatest intrest is that the home business is a study, learn and earn program. It is so dynamic that one should be ready to move with the speed of the program or quit. My view is in contrast to to the popular ad that says, when once you have a computer and internet connection you will earn. Iam saying no because the right thing to say is own a computer, internet connection and ability to study then finally earn. |

Well said. It's not enough to just have a computer and internet connection. You really need to work and learn and do the right things in order to make any money at all online. It's all a big learning process and we all will face many hurdles in our journey. The ones who face those hurdles and overcome them are the ones who will succeed in this business. Matt |

LOL. NAPS! Seriously, after nearly 2 decades in corporate cubicle hell, it is very important to me to work when I want to. This is not to say I do not get everything done that needs to be done. It is just that I can do it within a 24 hour parameter vs 8 hours. Let's face it. Your work takes up more time than anything else in your life other than sleep. Shouldn't you enjoy what you are doing? I saw a movie last night and the man's wife asks why he bought a yacht since all he does is work. He says "well, I plan on changing that, because I have never heard anyone who is ready to die say, 'I wish I had spent more time at the office' ''. Think about it - if you love what you are doing and the environment in which you are working is pleasant, it doesn't get much better than that. OK you will say better would be if you were independently wealthy and didn't need to work. Not so, I think it would be very boring if there was no work. Really.... |

(Sorry to have to add to your nightmare images, Patricia.) And next to "hangin' loose at home," my interests are similar to Luckystar's - I am a strong advocate for lifelong learning, and if you are going to go to the trouble to LEARN something, you might as well EARN something while you're doing it, right? GT :-) Hmmm. I wonder what the dress code is at a convention of home business enthusiasts?

After working for Fedex for years now, it feels so good to stay inside when it's storming here in Florida. I just look out my window and remember the days of driving in all of the traffic. Now I am like Jeff! But only I am still a rookie here. Truby |

Hello all, I think you all are really funny and I must say I enjoy reading a lot of what you all have to say. I am in this business because about a year ago I found out that my 14 year old son has clinical depression and I had to give up my job to be here for him and my other 4 children. My husband work 60 hour a week for NOTHING, I am sure you all know how that is.. So I guess you could say its the money, but I did it mostly for my children..I am so glad that i did.. Cant wait to read more from all of you.. |

Hi, I am joining this PIPS is because I want to build my business and earn online. I had been working for 11 years and I have no satisfaction. I work because I need to work. Now I found PIPS and it is a good step for me to start my journey to reach my destination. Being a mother, the best is to stay at home and look after the kids and family. So home business is very much suitable more all the mothers. But I believe some people may not like home business as they do not have the chance to mix around as what they do if the work in the office. They may not feel that this is a business as they are not driving their car out from home. |

I believe this would be Peter, Paul and Mary! For me it is the freedom to choose when to work and when not to. That only comes from learning and applying skills to your business!

All very nice, I too am in it for the money......not to get rich although that would be a bonus lol, but to have a secure retirement which is only 5 years away on my state pension. the bottom line is, I have 5 years to make it work!..........I hope I make it sooner of course, but I am a realist, dreams take time. The bonus to all these dreams, is meeting such a great bunch of people like you lot! You keep me entertained for hours on end. Graham |

I am doing it also for the money. Mainly though it will be for the satisfaction of never having to answer to boss again. So far there is not much in the way of money from my home business, other than $8.15 from SFI but I guess this is a start.

What interests me in home business is that I'm "Learning and Earning" for real. This isn't some government-bond kind of thing where I study and have to pay back the loan to the government. I actually really learn and apply the stuff I learn in order to earn! 1. My website got ranked number 2 for a particular keyword phrase. 2. The website I own started in ranking 20 million in Alexa, followed by 7 million, and then currently 4 million - and still catching up! All in 1 month! 3. My very first sale came in a month after learning and applying everything as well! Whose to say Home Business doesn't work? Asher |

Hi, Jeff, I quite agree with you...online business is beyond having computer and internet connection. The truth about online business is that as days goes by, more things are being injected into it in the area marketing. This now makes online business more challenging than it seems to be. Be that as it may be, nothing good comes easy, online business not exception. The freedom alone is worth it...this is my prime motivation. |

Hi Guys, I have really enjoyed reading this post and what motivates you all. Having a pc and internet connection in itself is only a means to and end as setting targets is important if you want a slow natural progression to where you want to be. My idea of heaven would be to have breakfast and walk a few yards to start work without the daily grind of negotiating the traffic jams. This may not suit everyone as some people need the daily contact with workmates which is fine but for me I would be willing to work long after retirement age if it was on my terms and something I enjoy. Who knows I might even join the Jeff and GT wear your drawers to work campaign ( perhaps not, too much information there LOL) My dream is to do what other warriors have done and that is to work from home full time which I am determined will be a case of when not if and that is my daily motivation. regards, Mal. |

Hi All, I thought it was for my financial and personal freedom but today it's because I just don't like the general public very much. I was abused so badly today by some idiot, all because I asked him for ID to purchase cigarettes. The names he called me cannot be repeated on this forum. I cannot wait until I no longer have to smile and serve (insert nasty word here) people like him anymore. Another reason is that I love to learn new things and it's time to start making money from it. And I love my PJ's and want to be able to wear them all day!! Belinda |

I like the idea of staying at home the whole day with my kids and make money at the same time.I have 2 boys and planning on having 2 girls, so a home business is ideal for me. But its true, we all do it for extra income.

I want to have freedom to do whatever i feel like doing everyday of my life. If i want to go on a 6 month holiday i want ot be able to pack my bags & head off to see the world. Hence why i am developing passive income to obtain lifestyle choices. I also enjoy challenges & learning. I have really enjoyed learning about online marketing & how to build a successful online business. I have now got my Website on Google page 1 for about 3 keyword phrases and working on new ones to get more FREE Traffic. Take a look at Google for keyword Phrase: top ten profit business My PIPS site is Top Ten Home Business Currently 3rd on Page 1. Thats an example of how much i have learnt using PIPS approaching my 3rd month. Cheers Tash |
