Hi, Everyone I switched to WordPress from Blogger. I think it came out pretty good. HomeBiz-PlugInProfit.com Blog So now I have two blogs. My question is or are, What do I do with Blogger and the post? 1. Do I move blogger post to wordpress, then remove blogger? 2. Do I leave it alone since it is indexed and start fresh with wordpress? 3. Leave blogger intack, move post to wordpress, then change links on website to point at wordpress? Then blogger would eventually fade away? 4. Do I move post to wordpress, move blogger back to blogspot with links pointing to new blog, then remove blogger from my hosting to save space? I'm up in the air. The scenerios are endless. Thx, Dan |

Hi Dan, I was in your same situation a while back. What I did was start new with Wordpress and make all new posts on my Wordpress blog. Then, I would write little summaries on my Blogger blog and link to the post on my Wordpress blog. My Blogger blog was already established and carries a PR 1, still. That would be my suggestion, but certainly you can do what you like. This just reminded me that I need to update my Blogger blog. BTW, your new Wordpress blog looks very nice. |

I think Alan answered your question so I will make another suggestion about your new wordpress blog... Change the title tag so it's not the link of your blog. Put your keywords there. It will help a LOT with search engine rankings and traffic. |

The Title tag is something I didn't even notice. I recommend what Trent said also.

Hi Dan, I was in the same situation as well. What I did and do is just run two blogs. My blogger blog is /blog and my wordpress blog is /wpblog. Matt |

I would do as Alan stated, start fresh on your Wordpress blog and keep your Blogger blog for the link juice. Every 5 or so posts on your Wordpress blog write on for your Blogger blog. Alan's idea of writing a summary of his post on Wordpress is a good idea as long as it is unique and not copied straight from the original. I would actually recommend setting up as many blogs as you can on as many different sites as possible and just post to each once a week or so linking back to your Wordpress blog. Just be careful because a lot of them do not like you using their services for marketing purposes. Mike. |

I'd agree with a lot of the other comments above: Maintain both blogs. Decide which is your primary blog and focus on that one but write short utility articles on your other(s) and make sure they all link back to your primary blog. Cheers, Martin. |
