Hello Everyone,
Can anyone give me any idea as to why my website has suddenly started loading slow. It's only on the right side and some of the pages such as the link pages any of the site menu. I never had any problems with the site loading until a few days ago. I have not changed anything on it so I don't know why this started. I would appreciate any help with understanding this. I have sent an email to H4P,but I have not heard back from them yet. One thing might be helpful is while the site is loading this is listed at the bottom of the page "Transfering Data From Pixel.Quantserve.com". Would that be a server from H4P? Thanks in advance for any and all help. Martha |

It loaded right up completely in just a few seconds for me.
Try to clear your cache and reboot your PC. If that doesn't work run a cleaner for your registry. Reboot your PC. If it is still slow then it may just be the network your internet service provider has - too much traffic sometimes... Clear Cache: On the browser (IE or FF - internet explorer or firefox) Tools Menu Click Internet Options Click Delete Delete temporary files Delete cookies Delete history Reboot (restart) your PC. If still slow. Go to ccleaner.com Free download Pick 'alternate download' Run the program When it is finished then scan Windows Then clean registry Reboot your PC. Try again... (take an aspirin and call me in the morning. lol) |

Wow, Pat, you read my mind LOL.
I think you described it better than I would have, though. Cheers, Alan |

Hello Pat,
I'm sorry I have not responded back to you regarding my website loading slow, but I just got very frustrated and had to get away from the computer for a while. I did do all the things you suggested though, everything. Once I deleted everything and my site was still loading slow. I downloaded ccleaner and ran it then I ran a virus check which found no virus, and I then rebooted my system and pulled up my website again and it's still doing the same thing. I have now sent another email to H4P because I don't know what to do. No one will stay around on my site waiting for it to load if it's loading that same for everyone else as it is for me. I have no problems with any other sites I visit doing this, and my computer is running just fine not having any problems with it in any way. I do want to thank you and Alan for trying to help me. Pat, can you load my site and tell me if you are seeing the same load problem. When I load it everything on the left side is fine, but it takes a while fore everything on the right to load and it's that way for other pages on my site as well. Thanks again, Martha |

It loads fine, Martha and did the first time I tried. That's why I know it is on your side and you don't need to worry about customers.
Since you have ruled out your PC, then it could be the network that your ISP is on - and hard to believe I know, it can just be certain sites that it has a problem with. |

Hi Martha,
Your site loads very quick for me as well. I'm not sure what the problem might be. Did you add something to your site that needs information from Pixel.Quantserve.com? This may or may not be causing the slow load time. It would be helpful to pin-point the problem... so that's a start, anyway. Hopefully H4P will be able to help. Best Regards, Alan |

Hi Pat,
I'm ready to agree with you that the problem I'm having is with my internet provider. I had some other people pull up my website and their not having any problems with it loading either. I found out that my internet service providers are doing some upgrading of the wireless and DSL service in my area. I'm now sure that is causing my problem. It may go on for a while, but at least it's good to know that the problem is only on my end and it's not loading that way for everyone else. Again I want to thank you for trying to help me. Hi Alan, and no I have not put anything on my site in a while. I just think the problem is being caused by the work my internet providers are doing in my area. Thanks to both of you for all your help. Martha |

Hi Martha,
Another reason your site might load slowly is if you have images on your website that are not hosted on your server (i.e. host4profit). If your using the images that are hosted on another server that can slow you down..... Take care Jeff |
