Hi Everyone, I have been with PIPS now for about 3 weeks this is probably a stupid question but being a complete newbie need to ask, I am starting to set up links to my website to improve my SEO but am wondering where all the links go on my website as have a few and am currently placing them on my main site is this the right way to do it? Also I am thinking of setting my home page to a sqeeze page I am working on but if i do this will other sites still want to a squeeze page and where should i put all the links? I hope this makes sense? |

HI James, The best way to build links is by getting one way links. These are more valuable in the eyes of the search engines and you don't have to put anything on your site. You can get one way links with article marketing, directory submission, forum posting, commenting on other blogs, setting up online profiles etc. If you do want to do reciprocal linking you would need to either put the links in a section on your home page OR create a separate page for the links (that is linked from your home page), or use something like link machine. I used to do a lot of recoprocal linking 4 years ago, but I never bother any more apart from a small number of home page link exchanges. Cheers, Suzanne |
