I dont know if you guys are getting the same technical problems with GVO hosting

everyday they have a new problem and my domains are down for hours

they will give me a stroke

it is the worst hosting i have ever worked with, I miss host4profits

It is very common to see a product or service that is priced too low to perform poorly as compared to products that are priced high. So, can you expect the low-cost hosting provided by GVO through their Host Then Profit program deliver superbly hosting performance?

But mind you, I also experience problems with GVO Host Then Profit, but the performance and the benefits I get from them still outweighs the problems I'm having!

Whenever I experience "Error 502" which is my most common problem with them, I just fix it by closing and restarting my browser. Or, if it is not fixed immediately, I just wait for minutes or few hours, and resume my work after the problem went away.

This is my second time hosting my site with them. 3 years ago, I was new member of PIPS, and I got turned off by the frequent problem I had with them (GVO) and quit PIPS. I then moved to BlueHost thinking the fields are greener over there. But then, I found out, it's the same. No difference at all. And the price is steeper (with no freebies like we have here in GVO Host Then Profit!).

Maybe just a little patience is needed. Remember, with the freebies we get from them, we have a bargain, and we should be thankful for that. Be patient, smile, and stay cool.

I am not paying a low price

it cost me almost $50

and every day their server is down for hours

just today , right now their server is down and their support is telling me, they are upgrading

There are a lot of 'fly-by-nighters' in the hosting industry. You can still find a cheap host that is reliable. My suggestion is HostGator or GreenGeeks. They're cheap and have a good reputation. Just my 2cents

If you have a Plug-In Profit Site - GVO Host Then Profit is required. We do not accept or support any other host at this time.

It is actually a fantastic deal at GVO to include up to 5 autoresponder campaigns and 4 domains in the basic ($10) hosting account. (they have even cheaper with only 1 domain)

Our members used to have to pay $25 for Host4Profit hosting 1 domain, and then $15-25 for Getresponse campaign. We are also able to use GVO's custom installation software that greatly reduces the time it takes to set up new websites; and members can earn money when their downline is required to have HTP.

Host4Profit has had fantastic support but doesn't have cPanel - so even with assistance installing Wordpress is very problematic.

HostGator would never understand I have hundreds of accounts (PIPS members, new applications etc) and although the phone and email support were good (and 24-hour) they still treated me like just a regular customer - and I was often on the phone until midnight to get somebody's problem resolved. I need priority support which I do have with GVO (24-7 live chat with tech supervisors).

I know they have a lot of system problems sometimes, but are continually adding more servers - which cause more problems being installed and tweaked/debugged, etc. I think the problem is merely really fast growth and they need to catch up with their success. They do have hundreds of servers and thousands of accounts so it is no easy task to keep it all running perfectly.

Keep in mind I get a lot of complaints that sites are down when in fact they are not down at all - Many times the problem is at the user end and merely clearing the browser cache will clear up the issue - other times the IP address is blocked because of multiple unsuccessful attempts to login to the accounts associated.

I do hope that the 'up-time' will improve as well...

My site is down a lot also with GVO....I am paying every month for hosting...
when I go to my site it is not online, it is showing a pureleverage lead capture email form page, instead of my site, what do I do about this?
Also there are people calling me at home since I hosted with GVO, with different
selling info about making money online etc, they said they got my info from GVO,
so GVO gives out personal info to other sales people when you signup with them it seems. Also my domains are registered as private, but people are still calling me at home about my domain names, where are these people getting out personal home phone numbers and names?
Is there any better host with around the same low monthly cost?
What is a plug and profit site, what does it do?

GVO is not a 'fly-by-nighter', they have been around for several years.

But if the OP is having trouble with them the solution is to move on to a different host. If you need to host at GVO for PIPS, see if you can get the cheapest plan and go to another host for any other sites you are hosting there.

If PIPS is not generating enough income to cover the cost of the minimal GVO hosting plan...
you don't need anybody here to tell you what to do about GVO and PIPS.

This means your account is suspended. This is almost 99% due to billing problems but can be otherwise*. Whether or not you believe you are paying every month, something may be wrong with the billing transaction.

With all due respect it would be much more logical for you to contact GVO about this issue than to post it on a public forum where nobody can give you a direct resolution.

* Otherwise may mean that you have been shut down due to spam or malware on your site - whether complaints have been filed or something going on has required them to disable your site to keep from overloading the servers (such as with an errant script).

Don't sit and wait and wonder - get the issue resolved.

Thanks but PIPS does not generate anything - it would be the member who is either doing sufficient promotion to create results or not.

"No program works unless we do". (I said that)

... so while I appreciate you giving our members advice (and most of your post is right on), quitting is not the answer. Trust me - we have lots of members that are making money with PIPS - and they are using GVO hosting just the same as those looking for an excuse to fail.

They do suspend accounts by mistake, they do it a lot, you need to contact them thro support chat, sometimes they bill too much and bill you more than once and close your account without a reason, they have a serious technical problems and most of their problems come from the fact they have no boss, no one in charge and no one care for the customers.

Jossefsal - you are going over the top now. This is simply not true at all.

In fact Joel Therien is the owner and it always amazes me how he will suddenly be a part of a conversation in an email thread when I am talking to his technical support people - chiming in with suggestions, etc.

He is very involved in his business - although again I think they are just growing too fast and need to catch up by getting more servers etc.

I have just heard that in fact they are moving the hosting to servers in the 'cloud' so this will make it much faster and less problems -

BUT THIS TAKES TIME TO CONVERT ALL THE accounts so please be patient.

I can understand you being upset but you don't need to exaggerate and make it worse than it is.

Remember you are not hurting anyone but yourself and other PIPS members who are trying to sell PIPS and as such are required to sell Host Then Profit. GVO will continue to do just fine, regardless and in fact have a very high Alexa ranking which wouldn't be the case if they were as bad as you say.

So while I don't want to suppress the truth from the public I also don't need you to exaggerate.

Really? how can anyone accept such things, Its really hard to believe they are still in business. I strongly believe they wont last more than couple of years if they continue with such attitude.

If you are paying for hosting then you should get the service you are paying for and none of this BS that they are growing too fast and are too successful.

So what if they offer lots of free bonuses with the hosting, whats the point if no one can see your site.
