Default A promise I couldn't keep...

Members,

A few months ago I made a promise that I would leave the core PIPS programs alone and never change any of them unless the program went defunct.

As it turns out, that was a promise I could not keep. That's a big lesson for me and I am sure it has hurt my credibility in the eyes of those who were aware of this promise. For this and for not living up to my stated intentions, I apologize to you.

The fact is that PIPS is an obsession for me and attempting to make it the most profitable opportunity I can is something that I am always working on.

The fact is also that the Internet, marketing and PIPS programs themselves are constantly in a state of change. If one of the affiliate programs in PIPS makes a significant change to their site, signup process, one-time offer, or anything else, it affects the entire PIPS sales and marketing process - sometimes in positive, sometimes in negative ways.

Despite relentless change, my mission remains to make the Plug-In Profit Site the most profitable marketing system that it possibly can be for myself and everyone using it. Therefore, it is very likely that the Plug-In Profit Site will continue to evolve as we all do.

With these things said, here's a few updates:

- Web Prosperity has been removed from PIPS.

- Lawn Chair Millionaire was added to PIPS a couple of months ago and I think this addition has been very positive because it's made referring people to PIPS a lot more profitable. If you have not added your LCM Username to your PIPS account yet, you can do that here: http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/account

- A free Reverse Funnel System joint-venture module was added to PIPS which pays you a 100% commission for anyone who applies for the Reverse Funnel System through your PIPS ID. Details about this addition are in Day 6 of the PIPS 30 Days to Success guide here: http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/30da...cess/day6.html

- The standard Plug-In Profit Site affiliate link which looks like this: http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/main-0 has been shortened which helps the page load a lot faster and get more response. It's not a squeeze page which forces people to subscribe to get info. The subscription to my mini-course is the same as it has been for years and then right below it is the link to continue learning about the Plug-In Profit Site. This directs to a page the looks like this: http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/main-0/freesetup.html

You could send your prospects to either page you want and I encourage you to experiment and see what performs better for you. Myself and the top 2 PIPS affiliates send their prospects to the subscription page first. This gives me the opportunity to follow up with your prospects for you in an effort to help you make more sales.

- Finally, today I replaced Traffic Swarm with Global Domains International in the PIPS sign up process. My goal with this is to make PIPS more profitable for everyone.

Here's a few of my thoughts that went into this change:

GDI is a far more profitable opportunity than I ever imagined it to be and I think it could work well with PIPS. There are people earning over $100,000/month with it.

The purpose of promoting PIPS is to earn multiple streams of INCOME and GDI is much more of an income stream than Traffic Swarm.

Traffic Swarm is really a traffic stream (and a really, really good one) with a possible back-end income stream, but my experience indicates that it takes A LOT of referrals into Traffic Swarm to earn any significant money.

Traffic Swarm is now saturated with PIPS members trying to use Traffic Swarm to promote PIPS and the effectiveness of this as an advertising tool for PIPS members is continually decreasing because of this saturation.

So for these primary reasons I've decided to test GDI as one of the core PIPS programs. This is not guaranteed to be a permanent change, but I would like it to be. It will all just depend on how well it performs.

If you would like to get credit for GDI members referred through your PIPS affiliate link, you can login to your PIPS account here and add your GDI Username: http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/account

Doing this will update your PIPS affiliate link with your GDI username instantly so you get credit for all your referrals.

I will post here in the forum again soon to let you know the results of this test.

If you have any questions or comments feel free to reply to this post. I'll do my best to respond efficiently if required.

Alternatively, you can always submit a ticket to our help desk here: http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/helpdesk and we'll do the best we can to help you.

Within the next 24 hours, all PIPS member's area pages will be updated to reflect the inclusion of GDI. After that point, if you notice anything that is out of whack, please let me know so I can fix it.

Again, I sincerely apologize for making a promise I couldn't keep. That hurts and hope you will forgive me for it. Regardless, I will strive to make it up to you.

Stone,

I know how hard you work to keep the PIPS program profitable for all! GDI is a good program and it has become one of the front runners when it comes to hosting and team building!

Thanks for the heads up! I know you only make changes to the PIPS program to make it better, therefore no apology needed!

Thanks,

Thanks Stone. Very well explained. I know PIPS is an obsession with you and there is nothing wrong with that. It has made you very wealthy and helped launch alot of us online to our own internet income. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Stone,

Replacing Trafficswarm with GDI will be helpful for the PIPSters.

I was a member of GDI earlier to your replacement.

I am trying to sign up for the "Free" GDI program so I can add it to my PIPS account page, but despite the GDI site having links in several spots saying "Sign up Free," it is NOT free. They will not let me past the gate until I buy something. How is that "free"?

Someone, please tell me what I am doing wrong.

GT,

It is FREE, they just take your credit card info and after your 7 day FREE trial they'll charge you $10 a month!

So, therefore it is free for 7 days and if you stay with GDI after that then you'll be charged $10!

Hope this helped,
Bill

So do new PIPS members still need to get domain and hosting from H4P? Or can they go through GDI now?

Stone's right about Trafficswarm being flooded with PIPS members. Everytime my homepage loads, odds are there are at least two PIPS adds on there!

I guess I better reacivate my GDI account now lol!

Hi Stone,

Thanks for the update. I've had a GDI account for a few years now and it is a very stable program and always pays commissions on time.

I am happy with change, as long as you let us know about it.. It is also very interesting to read the explanation of why you have changed a program. I think most people are happy with change as long as they understand the reasoning behind the change.

I noticed that you didn't comment on WebProsperity in your post? I presume it had been removed as it isn't on the sales page, but I don't remember seeeing an announcement from you (sorry if I missed it).

Cheers,
Suzanne

Hi Stone,
Thank you for letting us know about this change, and the explanation.
I've been a member of GDI for a long time and canceled my account after not using it and not referring affiliates, but it is a good program.

I have one question:
Are thinking about replacing H4P with GDI eventually?

Thank You Stone for the change to our precious 'baby' PIPS!
Change is good as long as it brings good outcome. It is true traffic swarm was saturated and it was hard to get sign -ups.
We hope GDI will bring positive results and make PIPS more profitable for the beginners
Keep on tweaking and tuning.

The pay plan is very simple you get $1 dollar for each referral and if you are able to refer 5 in a week bonus of $100, but don't forget you have to buy their DVD's set of ten to qualify for them. When I first joined I got stung with that one.

Tip Re: A promise I couldn't keep...

Hi Stone,

I do understand why you had to apologise about your sudden turnaround. However, I think the original mistake, with respect, was in promising that nothing was going to change; change ofcourse being one of the few things certain about this life and therefore cannot be avoided.

As a GDI member who has been doing well, I had been quite frustrated that the excellent opportunity it provided had been ignored by the PIPs program. So much so that I personally replaced a couple of PIPs programs on my site with other programs I believe were performing better, one of which is GDI.

Infact you could not have found a better program to introduce to PIPs at this stage than GDI and kudos to your sound judgment on this.

Now that we are getting more comfortable with the idea of change, I will suggest an annual review of all PIPs programs to ensure that members are able to promote the best on the internet so we can favourably compete with other marketers out there.

On this note, I urge you to consider Maverick Money Makers in the not too distant future. There is absolutely no membership training site that comes close to it. Periodic changes like this is what we need to keep PIPs ahead and at the cutting edge of Internet Marketing supremacy.

Much Respect.

GDI is an Amazing Company. This will only help PIPS members. I started with PIPS a while back but did not continue with it but there are some good programs and people involved in PIPS. As far as the DVD's go it is my understanding that you need to only purchase them once and then you are qualified for bonuses every week. Call GDI to verify that.

I have been with GDI since July of 2008 and have been fortunate enough to have signed on Tissa Godavitarne who has been on top of the GDI leaderboards from August until now. His program is great as is Stone Evans.

Tissa Godavitarne built his program around a Huge Niche as Stone has built his on Different Income Streams. But Tissa also has several Income Streams in his Program.

With any Internet Marketing Strategy you need good stable companies, great training and a willingness to learn how to make money online.

Again, GDI is a fantastic addition and will only help PIPS

The DVD purchase is only required if you want to qualify for the bonus pool. They pay a $100 bonus if you sign up 5 people in a week, $200 for 10 people etc, but to qualify for this bonus you need to have purchased 10 DVDs that week or the previous week. DVDs are $2.95.

Cheers,

Hi, Bill:

Thanks for answering.
To Stone's credit, I will mention that I sent him an email the same time I posted the question here and he responded very quickly.

Now knowing that's what GDI means when they say "free," it is my opinion that the GDI material should clearly state that it is a "free trial" - not suck you into the sign-up process so they can get your contact details, then spring the surprise on you that free does not mean free.

Hi Stone,

Thank you for your post and your explanation of the reasons behind the changes and I don't feel an apology is needed either because you are only making changes for the better.

Change is part of life and PIPS is no different, sure it's dissapointing when something isn't working but better to ditch it and move on than run with it too long.

I also had the same question as Suzanne re: Web Prosperity, did I miss the news or did it just crawl away to die LOL

keep up the great work,

regards,

Mal.

Hi Stone
Its not your fault you had to break your promise-you shouldn't promise that in the first place because you always made it clear that your primary intention is to let us make the most profit out of your PIPS system. I thank you personally for keeping research on various programs, which is more profitable than others and include with PIPS. Ultimately we are the ultimate beneficiary, aren't we?

Regarding WebProsperity, Stone had at one point intended to make an announcement but I guess it fell through the cracks.

He is still promoting WebProsperity himself and continues to stand by the program. However, if I have interpreted what he told me correctly, the program was removed from the PIPS core because it was not converting well for members.

I guess when you make something free, many people just stay at the free level. Great for them, except it never represents a commission for the sponsor...

I joined gdi a while ago, I always thought the payout was too low. I know the conversion rate of host4profit is lowered by some people's reservation on the pricing.

However for those that do sign up , the payout , at the first level is ten to one of gdi. Sure some have been successful at the multilevel income of gdi but us pips members will need to have this program be part of the plug in site for a while probably before seeing multilevel returns. I know that PIPs new members will easily join gdi especially at only 10 per month, but gdi may require additional marketing besides the pips site to grow a team and network with duplicative efforts of its members.

So I would hope the 30 days training course improves to detail how pip members can do this. GDI has training and recruitment tools available at a cost too. I feel strongly that to make gdi a success at multilevels, they have to be purchased and utilized throughout your gdi team.

Hi Stone,
I like to ask a question. Before inclusion of GDI at your 30 days training guide there were two services displayed at the left. One is Plug-In Profit Co-op which is still there. Another was PIPS Power Group, which you eliminate from 30 days Training guide. Is there any specific reason for that? I like to know what exactly the reason PIPS Power Group Service ad is not there in 30 days training guide where it was before.
I will appreciate answer from anyone knows the issue.
Thanks
Khondoker

Hi Stone, don't worry about it. Change often brings progress. I have heard some good things about GDI and had been thinking it was only a matter of time before you made it a core program.

Amreen, the PPG is a group of successful PIPS owners who give mentoring and instruction for those looking to expand their business above and beyond the 30 days to success training. I don't know why the ad was removed but it seems to come and go from time to time. Tim.

Aaron,

Hosting with Host4Profit is still required to receive a Plug-In Profit Site.

Thanks,

Stone Evans

Stone's right about Trafficswarm being flooded with PIPS members. Everytime my homepage loads, odds are there are at least two PIPS adds on there!

I guess I better reacivate my GDI account now lol!

Hi Suzanne,

Yes, Web Prosperity was removed too. I'll add that to the list above.

This program was too new and it was the wrong decision for me to add it to PIPS so quickly. I like it, but it was not the right fit.

Thanks,

Stone Evans

I am happy with change, as long as you let us know about it.. It is also very interesting to read the explanation of why you have changed a program. I think most people are happy with change as long as they understand the reasoning behind the change.

I noticed that you didn't comment on WebProsperity in your post? I presume it had been removed as it isn't on the sales page, but I don't remember seeeing an announcement from you (sorry if I missed it).

Cheers,
Suzanne

Hi Tanny,

No, I'm not thinking about replacing H4P with GDI eventually.

Thanks,

Stone Evans

I've been a member of GDI for a long time and canceled my account after not using it and not referring affiliates, but it is a good program.

I have one question:
Are thinking about replacing H4P with GDI eventually?

Hi Stone,

I have some questions for you. Do all of the sites look the same?

Is there still room for a newbie to make money with this system?

Thanks,

David

The sites are fully customizable. There are several versions that are basically the same when they are built for you and are encoded with your affiliate IDs for our core programs.

You can change your site in any way you want to - change the look, add programs, add pages, etc.

If you don't know anything about HTML, it is not that hard to learn basics and/or we have some partners that will help you for a small fee.
