Graham, you can log in with your old username, and when it says your pw is invalid, just click on the lost password/request password link. Then you'll be here with your old WF username and post count history. (EDIT: It will email you a new password, so watch for the email and check your junk/spam folder).

No posts will be migrated from the old system, as per several replies from Allen in various threads. I believe the War room posts will be migrated (likely manually) - I'm sure I read that from Allen in one of his replies.

Allen and his techies tried for 2 weeks to find a solution to migrate the posts without any luck.

Look on the bright side - you get to be part of building up WF again and being part of the contributions!

Hi Karen,

If I wanted to keep my new log in name, can my history be transferred?

I did request a name change some time ago

Thanks,

Graham

I have no idea Graham. What I suggest is you revert back to your old login name, so you can retain your post history etc, then when the dust settles over here a bit, inquire about getting a name change.

Hi Graham,
Don't know if this will help, but someone started a name change thread in the main discussion forum. I don't know if they are going to do the name change thing again or not, but might not hurt to get you name in early just in case.

Take care,
Terry

Thanks Terry,

But I already had my name down for quite some time....guess I'll just bite the bullet and stick with my new name.
Cheers,

Graham

If you see my name and correct post count then I will be happy again. It seems I was bumped back to 0 on my post count and back to an old user name for some reason.

My old posts are under the house and Dorothy ran off with the slippers...

Oh, well...just keep talking the "new" forum.
