Charles,
Congrats on your 2nd anniversary with the Plug-In Profit Site. It shows that you have a good work ethic and a practical long-term goal, both traits which will help lead you to the level of income you wish to make. I'm looking foward to hearing of the progress you make in the years to come!

Hi pbwsfi,
This is how I made progress with my business..
*Be absolutely clear on your big picture which is the prize. I decided to build a business to make money even if it took me months/years, with hard work and spending the hard earned dollar, I did not want to be a failure
* break down your map into monthly, weekly, and daily steps-do not rush or follow the Goobers giant's steps
* make your daily plans to give you some out-comes and pat yourself on the back for achieving
*Most importantly-eliminate distractions- I was and still a victim. How ever plan specific times to answer emails/phones or respond to some sales pitches /scam offers
* Do one thing at a time-finish before you move to the next
* Always move with a pen and paper to record any bright idea you may have at that particular time
*Lastly you must prioritize your project that will push you ahead- be clear on the right things, visualize your out come you want in life. This has motivated me to do the uncomfortable things, just to make things move. In December 2008 my website was worth $121 in June went up to $2387.1, yesterday when I checked it was $3139- Secretes-article writing, blogging and SEO. This may scare you, but I can reassure you,I was, but said to myself,If I do nothing, Nothing will change and no one will do it for me.
And you should know what you are good at- Do it and drop the rest.
Hung around with positive thinking people, including this forum, you will be amazed how much you can learn. If you want details, PM
Wish you all the success-Never quit!!

Charles

Hello Sfimant1,
Welcome to the club,
I am not a full time network guy, but that is my aim, I want to get out of the "wage trap" and live a better life, with more freedom I hate shifts in the hospital.
Any way to build a profitable business you need to understand 3 things in order to make money. And you have to get them right from the beginning other wise you will lose alot of money and get frustrated..and quit.
1.Marketing- is the beginning of the process to generate steady flow of visitors to your website.. start blogging, writing articles, register with social networking sites, participate in forums and SEO(all this is free)
2.You must have products (apart from from our PIPS) people are ready and willing to pay for even if the prices are high

3.Stone has given us the automated system that should turn your visitors into buyers over and over. Have a good sales letter that closes with a sale. I recommend to upgrade your Getresponse as soon as possible, if you have not yet done so and buy leads. The money is in leads. Don,t wait for customers to find your website,, follow them then you will be like stone, who pushes the button and gets sales everyday. It takes money to make money. No secrets about it. I have come to learn this over the two years.
So don't give up.. if others can, yes you can too

Good luck!!

Charles

Thanks Mr Chenge for the kind words. I have some clients from Kenya and I am sure you will inspire them to start on line business. There is money to be made if one is determined.
