If you have your website hosted with WPEngine, you can set it up with Https:// for free. They also have a paid https:// version, but IMO you don't need it.

I always find it is much easier to rank in Yahoo & Bing vs Google short term. My guess is people aren't as optimized for those search engines like they are on Google. I will often find clients...

If you look at WikiPedia they have a ton of internal links. Google likes internal links because it looks like you have more knowledge of the subject.

Of course it doesn't, but if you are selling products people want and they stay on your site because of it, that will lower the bounce rate and boost the ave session time that they stay on.

I would disagree with some of what is being said here. Having a shop on your site will mean that rather than sending people away they will remain on your site, which can in fact boost your site...

When setting up the Google My Business account we spelled out Suite as part of the address

Being a Local SEO fan, I think working on your citations is a really good start.

Using tools like BrightLocal, Moz Local, Whitespark, Yext can go a long way to helping you compete locally.
