Why forums' traffic are decreasing

According to my analytics then traffic on forums (DP, WJ, DP, WF and other forums) are decreasing, it was affected by Google recently updated any algorithms? or any other reasons?

If you do it too much, it will look like spams and you will not get traffic from it.

I build a page and getting around 57K visits a month for my forum from Google+, just sharing useful information...
