Well, we have actually tested this with blogs, and blogs on subdomains do not do nearly as well as blogs in subdirectories of a website. Both the blog ranks better as does the main domain when a blog...

The DA doesn't matter, and Google is certainly not punishing sites that have links from low DA sites.

Is the page relevant to your website? That's the question you should be asking.

Sometimes a link (one link) placed on blog roll it will produce lots of identical links. the best thing is asking the web master to delete the links. I would not disavow unless I was told by Google...
