Javascript Tutorials?

I have yet to learn Javascript, and it's the next on my list of onlnie languages xD
So i was wondering, have any of you guys found any sites that helped you out when you were just learning? If so, please could you paste the URL so i could take a look.

Thanks.

Re: Javascript Tutorials?

The best resource I can mention from my own experience isn't a site, it's a book: JavaScript - The Definitive Guide, by Davad Flanagan. Well worth the price, IMO. It leads you from a basic introduction all the way to very advanced concepts and usage.

The only part that's available for free, that I know of, is the collection of code examples. Instructive, but not a whole lot of good without the book.

I also own the above mentioned book. It is an excellent resource, and is good for a comprehensive study of the language. For tutorials and free resources, as well as compatibility tables, I recommend Quirksmode.org

I've always liked W3Schools for getting the basics of a new programming language. I think it's a great place to start.

Here is the Javascript section: JavaScript Tutorial

As cncassociates recommended, W3Schools is a good place to go to when you need help on programming languages (not just javascript).

The following websites are quite good too
JavaScript tutorial
Javascript Tutorial - Intro
JavaScript Tutorial - Webmonkey
