Default How does everyone sort out OTO security?

I've just bought a OTO package that contains the html designs and a ton of PLR products but it doesn't tell me how to protect the one time offer page once the user has clicked no thanks?

What are my options?

Your options depend upon your programming skills and the hooks that the package provides If any). The easiest methods involve either using a cookie to check to see if the user has read the page already and to either create a redirect strategy or use PHP or some other language to generate the copy at the appropriate time.

PM me if you want and I can give you a quote for integrating what you are looking for into your site.

Maybe that's the strategy? To not protect the OTO page
It's very rare to see someone *really* protecting an OTO page and sometimes you get an OTO and you say no, and once you login into the members area, you get it again, and again, and again...

Anyway, if you really need to protect it, Lisa G is right - it needs some kind of custom programming.

You're right Carlos. That is a very common strategy. The only issue I have is that it tends to tarnish your integrity a bit when you claim exclusivity on one page and then go back on your word later. But maybe I'm the only person that bothers.

Thanks Lisag and CMartin,

I was of the opinion that Lisa mentioned of not tarnishing my reputation by stating they'll never see it again only to allow them access to it through non secured links.

Thanks for the info people.

For the ethics in us ... it would be best to have a platform that handles this kind of stuff, would it not ... ?

Any decent offers on the market featuring website builder, membership stuff, shopping cart with OTO, cross and up sell offerings ... ?
