Hi everyone, I am a newbie and not a technical person. I am hoping for some advice or a referral
I understand from my blog designer that I need someone to program this for me. I have designed a free multiple-choice quiz in Excel, which I used because the existing online quiz design programs do not allow for the level of customization I want. I'd like the form to open within my blogsite, rather than go through email. If anyone is interested in sending me a quote that would allow the form to be interactive on my site, please respond. Thanks |

I think you could do this for free with Javascript. If not, I'm sure there's a quick converter program that will retain your Excel calculations. What version of Excel are you using? The reason I ask is because Microsoft has changed a lot of stuff with Excel 2007, including a feature called Excel web services. But that might be something you have to use together with a Sharepoint Server.
Here are few other resources you can investigate. QuizMaker Suite hxxp://www.attotron.com/pub/quizmaker.html SpreadsheetConverter HTML/JavaScript hxxp://www.vclcomponents.com/JavaScript/Scripts/Converters/SpreadsheetConverter_HTML_JavaScript_Std-info.html Wondershare QuizCreator 3.0 hxxp://www.sameshow.com/quiz-creator.html Self-Scoring Quizzes hxxp://weber.ucsd.edu/~dkjordan/resources/quizzes/quizzes.html Let us know what you decide to do. Curious to know if you really can get it done for free, or how much something simple like this would cost. Thanks. |

You should search for quiz plugins for the blog software you are using. Sounds like you've done something standard, so there should be something out there. Here's an example of something done in Word Press.
