Need help with Wordpress widget

Is there a way to edit/delete the things that show up for the "Meta" widget? All i want are the Register and log in/log out to show. or is there a better work around to have these 2 functions appear in the sidebar?

Maybe this will help:
There's two Meta widgets in my WP 2.8.4. One contains Log in/out, admin, feed and WordPress links, and the other contains just the register/login.

No, by default you can't edit the "Meta" widget unless you feel adventurous and want to modify PHP files. I personally never use it on my sites for that very reason...it has a lot of links I don't need.

I think this is exactly what you're looking for:

WordPress › MiniMeta Widget WordPress Plugins

You can add it in WP Admin by going: Plugins > Add New > "minimeta" > Search.

I'm guessing one came from whatever theme or plugins that you're using. There's not 2 Meta widgets in the WP 2.8.4 core.
