(I don't know where to put this so i will post it here so I aplogize in advance if it is the wrong category) I wanted to try xrumer out so I downloaded the demo and help but I get suspicious results. You can check the results from below: For File Help.exe: Virustotal. MD5: c71738c36ccb6a55544c186a063adbc7 Suspected Result: 1/41 (2.44%) For xrumerdemo.exe Virustotal. MD5: 956486069dee08b117ea1b8f6faa5490 Virus.Win32.FileInfector.gen (suspicious) Suspicious File Packed/Execryptor Suspected Result: 6/39 (15.38%) Please, tell me if it is still safe to install it?

Do you trust the source of where you're downloading the file from? Does the website give you the MD5 for their version? The Virus results do look like a simply mistake by the A/V that happens every now and then with custom made installers/exe's but it's still not to say that it isn't correct. Id suggest you look at who you are downloading it from or let someone else suggest a website source that is trusted if you do not trust your source. I don't think we can tell you if its safe to install without checking out the website source for ourselves. (Please be careful before posting web url's incase it goes against this forums rules/t&c's) |

If that is not their main site, then I could be wrong. So, can someone else please answer my question? | |
