This is getting boring... So I have godaddy windows web hosting (shared) IIS 7 whatever.. I can't get the permalinks to work like this: mywebsite.com/webpage - This one gives me a page not found error I have to write it like this to work: mywebsite.com/index.php/webpage The funny thing is... I have another blog, that has the same exact hosting plan. And the permalinks work fine. So why do they not work for this one? I noticed that the blog that works has a web.config file (which I didn't create). I copied the config file to the other blog and it still didn't solve anything.... :/ Cause now it's giving me a 500 internal error... Any idea how I can get out of this nightmare? Thanks in advance |

Godday hosting is not exactly know for its compliance with standards. A lot of posts here on the WF show dozens and dozens of examples where things normally work, but don't on Godday hosting.. Sorry I can't suggest a fix, but maybe its time to think about changing hosts.. Bruce |
