Anyone Tried HESK Support Help Desk Script?

Hey Warriors...

I recently downloaded this support desk software script called HESK.

But before I install it on my site, would like to ask around if you guys have any experience using it.

Any bugs? Installation problems etc?

Hi Bryan, I've just downloaded it to install it on one of my sites.

I've got to do a bit of hosting jiggling before I do, but as soon as I get it running I'll let you know what I find out about it.

From all appearances at this stage it looks like it'll do the job. It's the ole - It Should Work......

I've installed and started using it. It seems to be very stable, with a nice interface. My experience with it is good till now. I'll see what will happen when I'll launch my new software

was installation easy? I've downloaded it already, but being the technical idiot that I am, I ain't sure how to go about installing the thing.

I use it also, I am the one who referred it to someone here recently. It is very stable. I have had no issues with it at all. As for installation, I paid someone on here 15.00 to install it for me, they did it in less than a 1/2 hour, I forgot who, just ask, I am sure someone can do it for you if needed................

Gee I'm getting left behind here.

I'm still going to install it! My ToDo List took a bit of a beating with little emergencies some of my mates are having with their PHP Scripts on their sites.

Think I've got them sorted out.

So I should document up how to install this little beastie once I get started on it.
Always a good idea I find. Have something open you can write notes in on what you are doing. With a mind like a sieve , as I have, it's invaluable.

And yes, I do know where I can get my hands on the document once it's gathered dust...Well most times anyways.

I use Hesk at my support site. I like it a lot. Simple and fast. Install and customization took me less than 15-20 minutes.

I have also used osTicket, but I like Hesk better. I think Hesk is the best free support desk script.

Kayako is the best paid script if you want to go that route.

By the way, you can set up a Gmail address and use intelligent filters and folders to create your own help desk. I have thought about doing this myself. I might still do it too...

I just installed and made it active on a new site. I can't say my experience is extensive but the installation was easy and so far it's been really stable.

Sure can't beat the price! :-}

I have downloaded it, it was pretty simply to setup. The only problem is I could not change the header...Apart from that it is very easy to use.

Good find Bryan. I wonder why I didn't discover HESK earlier.

I noticed at least two features HESK has that OSTicket doesn't have.

1. CAPTCHA (anti-spam) in submitting ticket form
2. Knowledgebase

BTW, to HESK users here, does HESK support creating a ticket via e-mail like in OSTicket?
