I've just set up a new wordpress site & wish to know how to upload multiple pages all at once rather than having to upload them manually 1 at a time thru the pages section of my dashboard.
Many Thanks, as this is driving me nuts (

WP is database driven, so this is probably going to be an import using SQL statements or a pre-formatted collection of posts using a CSV file. I didn't spend much time looking, but here is a start, from the WP support folks.

I thing he means pages not posts...
If you want to upload multiple pages to a server you can use an archive. compress the folder wordpress and upload it to the server, it will decompress it if the server has this options. |

Thank you everyone.
I've decided to upload about 20 pages and then do the others a couple each day, which will be best for SEO, I believe... |

You could upload all the pages to a specific folder, and then create a single wordpress page containing html linking to all the other pages.

You can upload the pages by just creating a new blank page and pasting the content from the old page. It's just a matter of copy and paste.
