Default Can anyone pls show me how to upload a forum

Hello guys,

I would love it if someone would show me how to upload a forum. i have been playing around with this idea, but i dont have any knowlege on installing php (or what is it)

I would start by checking to see if your hosting company has a one click install (like fantastico on cpanel) of a forum script. Email support and see what they can do for you.

or if you are really clueless, or dont have a capable host you could use a remotely hosted forum, there are several free ones

phpBB and SMF are both popular free forum scripts. If your web host offers cpanel hosting and the fantastico script librbary these forum scripts can be automatically installed.

If your host has cPanel and Fantastico it is the matter of few (quite intuitive) clicks.
Contact them and find out.

If you`re about to find a new host it shouldn`t be a problem.
Most of them are offering it.

use FTP client..
just extract forum files on your PC..
and then use FTP client to upload your files.
after that setup mysql database..
finally run installation file. from forum directory..
thats all.
