When first used, the BlueSense theme has an AdSense block in the Sidebar, but when I add Pages and Archives to the sidebar, the AdSense block is not there any more. How to get it there again (under the other Widgets)?
I've tried using an AdManager AdSense ad in the SideBar, and nothing appears (although I use this successfully on other sites with different themse), I've tried putting AdSense code into a Text widget, which doesn't work at all. There's the right AdSense code in the SideBar Template but in a If (is_home()) section. Can someone tell me how to get AdSense back there again? Chris |

You can ad the Adsense code inside a text widget and slide that widget to the sidebar location. The text widget is the easiest way.
The only reason that I can think of for why it wouldn't show up is if there were already 3 adsense ads elsewhere on the page, or if the ad was a bigger size than your sidebar dimensions or the adsense block was brand new and didn't have time to populate (10 minutes). Another way would be to hard code the ad code into your sidebar.php template, but not recommended unless you know how and where to look. |
