Can You Build A Site Like This? New & Used Cars for Sale, Auto Dealers, Car Reviews and Car Finance Advice

Is there an existing shell that can be customized?
Can a smaller but easily expandable site be built with the same functionality?
Can this be built rather quickly without costing an arm and a leg?
Can this site be constructed inexpensively or am I just crazy?

I am looking for someone that can help me with a project I am working on.
My specialty is marketing. My site building skills can be placed in a thimble with room to spare. So, if you would like a challenge let me know.

Well if you plan on making a site like this, you need somewhat of a plan. You could easily get a site like this made for $500 if you strike a good dead with someone(advertising, name on site, you know ;]).

It just depends on what you want, and how quickly you want it.

Hi,
He has sent a PM to me asking to build the site.
then we had some email conversations about the
site he looking for, features of the site and the time
frame etc.

I don't agree with you that this kind of site can be
available in $500. If you cann't help some member
by building his site so you shouldn't also miss guide
them. Because I don't think after your posting any
body will be interested to help him to build the site.

If you are looking a full time programmer then you should clearely mention to build the site with the features, how many screen shots, cars review, expert review etc.
If you are a developer and looking for a designer to build only site layouts then mention the No. of screens you are looking for. I can design for you.

First of all @sndas that is a reasonable price. Again that ISN'T the only thing that you would be paying them. Im talking about working out a deal with the programmer(advertising, part ownership, etc). Of course you couldn't pay just $500 and get a site like that.

Hello,

There are plenty of scripts out there for this kind of websites. So it only depends if you want a fully custom programming or some minor modification to a script license and a new design.

If its a license script and you simply want to adapt some small features and a new design I personally would quote something near $600-$1200.
